I've learned to make friends with the "House Gremlin"... the little spirit with the very expensive sense of humor. Ours is a "she", and she's always going to be around. Grateful we have some savings and excellent credit for the really exuberant "tricks". We are still dealing with the plumbing issue that occurred in January. Our front bathroom looked like the fountains gracing the entry of The Venetian in Vegas. It's taking a while...older home...plumbing burst in the wall...and you know...water damage. That was a good one!!! And yes, Riley needs to be extra comfortable right now. I hope this resolves itself quickly ❤

So sorry about your unit. Our heat pump went out in January 2022, took a month to get a new one. Only had emergency heat, electric bill wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, thank God. Continued prayers for Rili. Can't wait to see the next video.

Love it all. Sorry about your unit, our entire house unit went out one summer and because our house was built in 1907 none of our windows open. We had to wait for parts to be ordered and things in the house reacted to the heat, candles etc. 😂 not fun! Hope your daughter continues to do well.💐 PS wasn’t able to watch yesterday because of storms our internet went out😂 we didn’t get back online until late morning.

As always, so welcoming and whimsical. Absolutely beautiful! When my children were little the two-story home we lived in for 11 years did not have air conditioning. Just this weekend my daughter said how she doesn’t know how we survived all those years without cool air. I have fond memories of all of us sleeping together on makeshift beds downstairs lulled to sleep by the sound of a fan. It was just too hot to sleep upstairs. What I wouldn’t have given for a screened in porch! I pray Reily continues to mend well. Your family surely has been through a little bit. What a comfort your sweet cottage must be to all of you. Question? when ever I have used dishware to plant something, it always ruins the vessel! It leaves a 'ring' around the dishware and some yellowing, depending on the age of the dish. Does that happen to you or do you have a secret??
