Are the Arborvitaes getting enough water? I find that they need quite a bit of water so they don't get brown or burnt. It looks like you have a drip system, but maybe the water just runs right away from the roots because they are on a hill?

@@meldog7925 no they aren’t. I’ve talked about this area in some other videos but I guess I didn’t mention it here. I will be taking them out and replacing them probably next spring. They’ve been struggling there since we’ve been here. Could be the hillside or soil condition or both.

@@meldog7925 Thanks so much! I feel really fortunate to have moved into a home with such nice landscaping and great views! I’m having fun researching things to try planting on that hillside. Thinking a few smaller trees or black laces elderberry. We shall see. 😊
