Summer Garden Update

I’d probably clip the suckers off or not worry about them. It looks really great! My garden is FULL of weeds!

Watch for johnson grass! I made a huge mistake last year in letting some of it go to seed. It's been a constant battle this year. That truly is a pernicious, nasty weed.

The big garden has really took off ! The plastic made a difference for sure . We been having to weed all the time . It's starting to get old now .

Yes! It didn't seem to make much a difference in the beginning. Once we hit the dry spell, though, I think it held a lot of the deep moisture and allowed those plants to thrive.
