Summer / Holiday Evening MakeUp Tutorial | Anastasia Beverly Hills Catwalk Palette | Shonagh Scott

Summer is on the approach, and many of us will be sunning it up abroad this year! So here is one of my many summer evening makeup looks.
As I'm yet to get my summer glow from the sun, I am showing you a way to achieve a quick sunkissed appearance at the beginning of the tutorial. BUT, if you have already got a lovely golden tan, then you can just skip to the eyeshadow section.
I love this palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. The colour range offers the ability to achieve many different colour combinations that would suit many summer day / evening makeup looks.

I know I must sound like a broken record, but I love this look as I do all your other ones, but this one especially. It is so incredibly beautiful, and the color mix really looks terrific on you. I have that palette, and while I can't use shadow all over my lids, I do like to play with colors in my crease. I'm just a little limited in the amount I can apply. Thanks for sharing this one. I was really looking forward to this after seeing it posted on Instagram.

So you can sound like a broken record all you want :D Ahh, I see, it can be a pain but its good that you still have a play with colours etc. Its all trial and error, and the more you play around with eyeshadows, you'll find what works for your eye shape and adapt tutorials like the ones I do, to suit your own eye shape and skin tone. I ordered it from NYX online, but if you're in the UK they sell a range of NYX products in NEXT. Just ask at the counter as the stand is usually hidden somewhere.

Yeah, it won't be for everyone. But you can always wear less base (which is what it's intended for when you're bronzed on holiday) and you can always take parts of the look and adapt them to something you prefer :)

It's not for the beach, if you listened you'd hear me say its a summer evening makeup. And the foundation is just to give me colour, so I can do this sunkissed makeup look. I clearly stipulate that if you already have a tan then you can just wear a light BB cream, or even zero foundation.
