Whenever the movies cuts to Molly and Frizzle's story at Fun-Land Farms, it constantly gives me Pleasure Island from Pinocchio vibes. A naive kid and a streetwise kid taken to a place that seems fun and cheery, only to learn such a place has a dark and exploitative agenda.

this was the best scene in the movie, im a big fan of these kinds of dark scenes, it makes it a lot better with the summer holiday song, the darkest bit is that that they are marching to their death without knowing it. This scene also reminds me of squid game, where its like so bright and colourful with extremely dark undertones. One more thing, 0:11 the reveal and the reaction from the chickens reminds me a lot of the sheep mince o matic from a close shave

YEAP, i was shocked when i saw that she was voiced by no other than Bella Ramsey. A.K.A: Hilda! Also this whole scene was just perfect too me. Watching them singing along a sweet song not knowing that they were walking towards their death was something i didn't expect from this movie! Now imagine this kind of scene happening in any other kids show/movie, like Hilda (Though this one has already ended😢), The Loud House (Though this one can go screw itself), and Back at the Barnyard (Most of the characters in this show/movie are Cows). That would be a very subtly dark (and funny too if handled well).

Ima just say it, this is one of the most intense scenes I’ve seen in any animated movie. I’m serious. There’s just so much going on here at once that it actually kinda makes my heart race a bit: Babs and Fletcher’s oblivious dancing along all packed with Ginger and Rocky trying to get the remote from Mrs. Tweedy and Molly and Mac desperately trying to free Frizzle, all whilst all of the chickens mindlessly walk towards their impending doom while singing such an upbeat song. Towards the end of the movie is your top clue to this metaphor story. She says "Thirty birds to a cage. Poor little kiddas" And the parents gasp. At 1:25:45 in the movie. This is analagous to 30 kids per classroom. Public schools. Where kids are caged, conditioned to submit and programmed to think as they are told. Many of our jobs are like this too. Freedom is the chickens living free from control cages.
