Omg…. That fireplace is gorgeous. I love your home. It’s so cozy and welcoming. I love your style too. Nothing in my house matches because I thrift items too. Thriftiness makes it a home…. It’s fun, quirky and me. The wallpapers used are beautiful. We have very low ceilings in our 1780’s Pennsylvania farmhouse too. The one room that really bothers me is our kitchen. Your kitchen looks amazing. The white really brightens up the space and that’s key. Thanks for inviting me into your beautiful cottage…farmhouse home.

What you said about that blanket on the back of your sofa is so important to understand about homes. We probably all want items that match perfectly with a style. An aesthetic to look like what we see online & in magazines. But there will always be those items that we absolutely fall in love with that just don't fit with our plans/ideas & there's just no way you can get rid of them for that reason. I have blankets that are years old that match nothing. But omg I'd never part with them. I think that's a home isn't it. A collection of our favourite things that kind of go together, but who really cares if they don't "match" cos it's based on love x

I love it all….you said it was Quirky and I love quirky. Gorgeous outside and in…it’s so nice to just sit and watch the birdbath with all the activity which I do at my house also. Hobbit cupboard is a treasure chest but what I really enjoyed is you talking about the Quilts and the special people who made them that’s the real treasure. I had simple French door on my laundry room (in my former country home) that was situated right next to my kitchen. I LOVED them. I could keep them open when it was just my husband and I at home and I was in and out doing laundry, but I could close them if I choose to when company came. My pantry was right on that same wall, so it was long line of French door from laundry room through pantry wall. The cabinet is perfect for storing all the things we all need in an office. Have you considered white painted shutters on your office window? You could close it off if necessary but still open it up for light?
