I miss the innocence. Great times. Life before the internet and mobile phones was simpler. Life is so short, but, it doesn’t feel like that when you’re young. Live your best life, be a nice person, and cherish the good times.

I remember the beautiful flower beds on O'Connell Bridge, anybody know why they were removed or did they just go the same way as the Anna Livia because we can't have anything nice in Dublin without some scrote destroying it for a laugh?

32 seconds in that's a great shot of J. M Barbers shop Rutland street. The old man is sitting next to Kellys shop. I use to buy me coal in there Great days. Hurrigans pub was across the way.

Mm when I took a summer job in 70 and 71 in Butlins/Mosney as a photographer, the Moore St ladies would take their hols there. On return to UCD as a student in the autumn, some of them would remember me as I walked thru the area, yelling" " where's your camera?"

Obituary: m.independent.ie/irish-news/tributes-pour-in-as-oconnell-streets-dancing-lady-mary-dunne-dies-at-87-29990716.html Mary Dunne passed away five years ago, to the day, more or less, February 2014. Very polite and nice, if you had a reason to speak to her. I would be going to school in Dublin and I exchanged pleasantries with her, over the years. She had been in a nursing home for a few years, out in South County Dublin, Foxrock/Dun Laoghaire area.
