Hello Susu! I have a question... you live in Vigo, right? Are there any Asian supermarkets in Vigo? somewhere i can buy asian food products, like thai green curry paste, japanese glico curry, Mirin etc... I am considering spending 6 weeks in Vigo, and i'm looking forward to the tapas of course, but I like asian food and cook at home most of the time... hope to hear from you!

Oh,Sorry for late reply. I have missed your comments. In Vigo , you can go to El corte ingles supermarket, they have asian food section , also Vigo has a small asian supermarket on Av. da Gran Vía, called Súper Rebeca, has limited options, you can also go and check. hope you has a nice trip in Vigo! thanks for your comments.

You haven't tried Cantabria and Gijon and Oviedo in Asturias and La Coruna in Galicia also or you would recognise that Vigo is no big shakes. I taught English on 6 month contracts throughout Spain since 1965 -2010 and speak all 3 languages and played sax and clarinet in all these areas. You're not unique by any means. Asturian bagpipers play together with Welsh , Irish Scottish and French players of Celtic music at the international festival in Ortiguiera a village in the wooded countryside area between both regions

RR, para tu información: Cómo que Ortigueira entre ambas regiones!!! Es Galicia pura. Acaso eres asturiano? Galicia es la región emblemática de la cultura celta en España. Ah, la Ría de Vigo es una maravilla natural (como las más de 15 restantes Rías gallegas). La ciudad de Vigo es preciosa, y sus alrededores muy hermosos. Las islas Cíes son un parque nacional maravilloso que protegen la entrada en la Ría. El conjunto de ciudad, contorno natural y las hermosísimas Cíes, constituyen un atractivo extraordinario. Aprovecho para afirmar que los 1.500 kilómetros de costa gallega, con sus más de 900 playas y más de 15 Rías son una joya española y europea.
