I was on this island many moons ago.. it was back in September 2001, just after the twin towers came down, we spent 2 weeks here, I remember the day we was due leave the Americans decided to invade Afghan, we was told that there wasn’t going to be any flights in or out of malé, due to the war! I remember thinking.. I’m all good with staying for a little longer, turns out that it was only an extra day. Absolute paradise! I seem to remember that there was some sort of dive equipment hire shop when you walked in off the pier, we hired a kayak and paddled over to the other island. Also remember that one side of the island always seemed to be extremely windy compared to the other side, luckily we was staying on the side that seemed to be pretty calm, just along from the pier.

Bad weather, strong wind, big waves, constant rain , Yes this is the rainy season, may to dec,,, ☹️☹️☹️ But the Island Very Nice!
