Wow, you just blew my mind! This is my first time attempting to make something like this, especially in lace weight yarn, and I just love your teaching style. I really appreciate the emphasis on visualizing the pattern as you go and not just blindly following what's written, it really appeals to my designer brain. I aspire to be a crochet garment designer and I can't tell you how much this helps. I'm still learning the more advanced side of crocheting...but your instruction has really opened my eyes to how I could easily create something of my own once I get more comfortable with understanding how the fabric should lay on the body and contouring the fabric to do so. If I use a heavier weight yarn and larger hook, how do I adjust the pattern? I've done the beginning rows on 48" bust all the way down to the 30" and the neck hole is HUGE! I'm wondering if I need to do fewer shells across the back?

Row 2 is not even in pattern...I would think it’s row 3. I assume that from the diagram line 5....Hopefully you receive the right answer
