Before you apply the marble colors, apply a base coat and without curing apply the marble effect on top. That way it spreads out much easier and nicer.

Kirsty from Naio Nails was one of the first people I'd seen use this technique of picking up the marble like that aha so idk if that's who you were referring to, but that's another reference if anyone needs it. :)

How are you holding up Natalie? I’m home with my hubby and 18 y/o son - my daughter lives on her own. Our state is in mandated quarantine, so we’re here for the duration. Can’t see my daughter now. You might struggle with a toothpick hun, gel brush should do it? Needs to be flat though to get the best outcome xxx
