Summer Memories | Scraptember Day 2 | Retro Summer

Scraptember prompt favorite tool. I choose to feature my deckle edge scissors. I will never part with these. I used them on the right hand side of the layout. This photo is one of my favorites. My dad loved watermelon and couldn't wait to buy it each summer. He is feeding little me. I used lots of Simple Stories papers and Echopark chipboard and stickers. The alphas are DoodleBug and Simple Stories. I finished it off with Spiegelmom Scraps sequins from my stash.

@ScrappySisters thank you, yes those scissors are old. Many scrapbookers started out with them long ago and even photos with them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I always cut paper and this one is my favorite. 😁thank you for watching
