My husband often rates my perfume bottles according to how effective a weapon they would make. This summer I’ve been wearing -Victoria (Frassai), -Boudoir (Vivienne Westwood) *my favorite perfume in my collection) -La Douceur De Siam (Dusita), -Parisian Musk (Matiere Premiere), -Allure Sensuelle (Chanel), -Dama Bianca (Xeroff), -La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolve (Lancôme) -Iris de Syracuse (Boucheron) I’ve been using Iris de Syracuse similar to how you use Chloé Rosa Damascena. And with its large, thick heavy 4.2 oz glass bottle, that mutha wins for best weapon hands down. Thanks by the way Wendi on your insights & response to finding vintage Aromatics Elixir.

Great vid as usual. I am caribbean black. I have chosen not to be offended by things unless it has to do with life and death. I am watching the 1st world countries cannabilise themselves with being offended by everything. Which is a good way to not see what is truly happening and what is important. I also look at how folks are not bothered about offending God ever which is because so many think he is irrelevant. If the Romany people say we are offended then fine the word gypsy should be erased and Dior would do what is appropriate and apologise. I believe let people groups decide what they want to be called up to a limit because from what I am observing it gets crazy pretty quick. We dont have summer. We have dry season and rainy season, we are in rainy season but its very hot still so I am wearing Lighr blue Sun, E and J French grey, mon guerlain edt, Angel edt and B&B body mists at home such as clementinr and mint leaves.

I agree it isn't worth getting offended over so many little things. Only so much really matters. I never argue with people either I just let them have their say and move on! Light Blue Sun looks really nice I may have to check it out. Thank you for sharing your list with me♥️

@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 Based on your collection Light blue Sun maybe a meh unless you love coconut in fragrance. I am not fan but it is okay. Prefer on half rain half sun days. On full hot and humid days not really a go to fragrance. Oh I forgot Florabotanica. I love it but alas hesitate to use it because its discontinued and so expensive, don't want it to finish. I know that mindset is silly. Always on the look out for something very similar.

Hei. I think a lot more women should talk about the menopause, it happens to us all right? I am in the middle of it now, and my sense of smell changed a lot. I really can not tolerate very sweet or gourmand notes,and patchouli is a big no-no. I also often need a break from perfume, my nose just will not have it.

I know half the human population goes through menopause and it's a major part of women's lives. It's affecting me really negatively actually. And even I've gone sans scent a day a week which just used to be unheard of. I know that feeling-- you just need a break!

A lovely selection indeed. In the summer, I mostly wear citruses and green fragrances; especially vintages. In this scorching Italian summer, I wore a lot Iperborea by Villoresi, Grey Flannel, Elephant, Teneré, Colognisé, Colonia Essenza and Magnolia Nobile. I love your videos.

Thank you Wendy for yet another great video. I love your taste in perfumes. I'm also menopausal so can relate. This summer I have been enjoying neroli and vetiver (the original acqua allegoria) and Hermes l'ambre des merveilles. I also have a sample of Amouage sunshine which at first I hated, but have subsequently discovered that it really sings in the late summer sunshine. What do you think of it?

Lol I'm glad I brought it up because all the menopause ladies are talking! I ordered the OG Vetiver Nerolia because I love the harvest so much! And I've sampled Sunshine and I thought it was a lovely floral per Amouage. Beautiful 😊

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I'm 58 and past menopause. I find I have trouble smelling a lot of perfumes. I have found perfumes I can smell that I love, but it's a whole deal to find a new one. I'm looking for one more summer perfume (I like 4 per season). I did want a citrus, but couldn't find anything I could smell and liked. I tried and fell for My Way Intense. Unfortunately it disappears to my nose in one hour. My husband says it smells great for 2-3 hours and is probably a skin scent for a good amount of time after that. I am thinking of getting a sample of Twilly d’Hermès because it has similar notes to My Way says Fragrantica. It's not really a summer fragrance (again says Fragrantica), and has a ginger note, but the tuberose and all the rest is calling me. What do you think? Do you know this one? Is it possible to wear in summer during the cooler days? Yes, I think The Chloe name is inappropriate. It's been made clear that that is not a nice name to call the Romá people. It's probably best to leave it in the past. I'm sorry to hear you lost your Guerlain. I love your nail color. This summer I wore Terracotta Guerlain, L'eau d'Issey Issey Miyake, White Tea EDP Elizabeth Arden, and I snuck in Chanel no19 a few times. That's it. I only have the 3 cheapies for summer, but I hope to find another perfume I can smell and love. Have a good one.🌻

I think that you should mos def check out Twilly. It's a gorgeous dynamic tuberose scent and you could totally wear it at end of summer. You are the second person to recommend a Miyake perfume I might have to make an order! I really do think it's a derogatory term for the Rom people and they should've thought twice about that. I have a bottle of Elizabeth Arden Vanille Orchid that O haven't tried yet. Since that was a summer perfume for you I might try that soon. Thanks for the compliment it's a new Essie color and went on really well! If you try the Twilly let me know.

You won't be sorry if you pick up L'eau d'Issey if you like beautiful florals with a fresh water background and some musk. It's inexpensive and I just got mine at Amazon. Thanks for the OK on Twilly. We don’t share any of the ones you mentioned, but I do have a natural version of Shalimar from Teone Reinthal (TRNP) and I might try that one and see how it goes! Good to see you again!
