Old school tent camping, with a few cool new toys tossed in, just for fun.
Tug Fork River. Right on the Kentucky/West Virginia border.
I had just over 24 hours to get there, set everything up, camp, fish, cook/clean up, pack, load, and all the other things that come with remote camping... While filming the entire thing... And do it all in 1 day. :-)
I think I did pretty good... Considering... LOL

man, it was 97 degrees today at work, with a feels like temp of hell, and then i had to come home and spend another 90 minutes mowing the yard etc. , but after that i got to shower up and get to sit in the shade and camp with leo on a friday evening for an hour! and got to meet dustin as well, and find out he isnt a litter bug! lol,,, thanks for taking me along for a relaxing hour today leo. looking forward to the next one!

I'm taking notes. When my husband passed our adventures stopped. The kids won't go camping with me, so next spring I'm going to start going by myself or take the grandbabies with me. I've got one that will roll up his britches leg and wade a creek with me.

Thats a great idea for a fund raiser the camp or die thing. All you can have is what covil war soldiers had which was coffee and Hard tac. That would be fun! Get a bunch of guys together let them pay a $10.00 entry fee. start a Friday night and end on a Sunday evening. 😂

Leo, are there designated camp spots or do you just wander in any woods in your state? I live in Illinois and you can’t just camp anywhere you want. Just curious about the camping where you live and regulations

Both. We have regular campgrounds and primitive camping in certain places.

Where can you go camping along a river like this? Is it private property, most places are private and most all parks and public land are closed to ATV traffic.

We have all sorts of remote places like this here. This spot is right on the river, and gets flooded several times a year. It's only used as a flood plain, and by locals for river/fishing access.
