Love Summer Salt to this day but this was the best era. These original 9 songs are just surf rock perfection. I can see why people got hooked to them so fast in 2016-2018.

I also love their stuff after this, especially their favorite holiday EP which has some of my favorite songs of all time. But I totally agree that these songs were such a formative/landmark project for indie rock in our generation!!! They really are a historically important as well as just amazing in general band. Summer Salt forever, hope to see you live again someday
