Summer School 2019 - Week Four Scottish country dancing Demonstration

Scottish country dance Demonstrations during Week 4 of Summer School in St Andrews. The dancers are from the UK, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands and the United States and were trained by Summer School Depute Director Anne Robertson.
The three dances are 'The Crystal Jig' devised by Margaret Henderson from this year's Imperial Book Volume 4, danced to a tune composed by the pianist Don Bartlett;
'Dunfermline to Sarasota' devised by Margo Priestley, original tune by Bill Ewan;
'Linlithgow Palace' devised by Mervyn Short, also from this year's Imperial Book Volume 4.
The dancers are accompanied by Don Bartlett on the piano.
