Having played against mezii, I genuinely don't understand how fnatic aren't building the roster around "mezii go kill". If they'd got roeJ, nicoodoz and HooXi, you've got a major quarterfinalist core with the experience of KRIMZ and the robotics of mezii. that'd be a scary team imo. kassad's a great no bullshit interviewee too, damn.

What kassad said about the North American scene is correct… But please, as NA fans we really need to be patient. We just have to accept that we’re behind the CIS/European/Brazilian markets right now. This is partly our fault for mismanaging the talent we had between cloud9/Liquid/Evil geniuses/NRG But a lot of this also comes down to how covid and valorant has slaughtered out player base. North America will be great again but we need to give it Atleast 3 years of solid backing before we see fruits. Franchising hitting Valorant will hopefully give us the first “wave” of new T3/T2 players. From there, it’s our job as a region to really push to keep the T2/T3 scene alive. We really have to get behind them. Not only the T2/3 scene but also the academy side, we need as much NA youth representation at the WePlay academy league as possible, europe is miles ahead and are churning out talent like no tomorrow, monesy/torzi/phzy/Krimbo/JDC/regali, list goes on and on. If we can sustain this for just a couple years, we will see the stars align just like they did for cloud9 to win a major, and for Liquid to have an era and win a grand slam. Until then we need to accept we need European help, and we need to stop comparing ourselves to Faze/NaVi/G2 - they’re championship teams and are miles ahead of us. I have 0 doubt we’ll catch up, but we’ve got to be patient🙏🏾 please stop expecting liquid to challenge for titles with what NA has to offer…
