I know the country of Cenepa comes from the conflict between Peru and Ecuador but this whole campaign is reminiscent of the Falklands War. Especially with the A-4s and Entendards which were all part of Argentinas aresenal during the conflict.

You can play most of DCS solo. I also have pretty bad anxiety and am learning the A10C II so it is very frustrating sometimes but I take it day by and am slowly getting better.

same but only part is that my 3060 laptop would cook itself running on mid with massive fps drops and my desktop with a goofy ahh 4gb vram amd card would catch fire asap, when i get a 6k€ pc i will get dcs quick

@morphozr032 I completely understand where you are coming from. I can tell you you're very likely smart enough to play DCS World. I, too, am intensely challenged by social interaction. However, I discovered a great group good enough to tackle moderately challenging missions and smart and enthusiastic enough to teach anyone more about their favorite airframe. I've gone from being Hornet-only, to being a Hornet, Warthog, Bronco, Huey, and Apache driver, with more to come. If you really want to dive deep into this world I'm sure you love, there is a group out there for you. I didn't used to think so, but now I know so.

You don't have to talk to people to play DCS. Unless they're actually your friends, solo is much more fun and you're not stuck to some wannabe orders trying so hard to be serious. As realistic as it is, after all, it's a game. Real life has enough rules and boring people already, you don't have to stand some annoying kiddos when all you want is some fun in your free time. Take this advice from a now pilot IRL and someone who has been playing since 2005 from the LOMAC days, most of these groups are full of dorks and frustrated wannabes who think they're "cool" somehow, it's just a bunch of outcasts who are overly enthusiastic about everything and didn't realize yet how cringe they look. Honestly, I don't think you can take anything positive out of this unless you find a REALLY decent group of people who are willing to (actually) have fun and can understand/respect one's limitations in every aspect.

I do still wonder if Project ACES/Bandai NAMCO would ever look at doing the ACES trilogy in modern graphics? (Say retain the cinematics but move the engines to AC:7's for example). For those not aware:- Ace Combat:4 Shattered Skies/Distant Thunder, Play for the game play, Ace Combat:5 Unsung War/Squadron Leader - Play for the story line (I'm not crying - you're crying), Ace Combat:0 The Belkan War - Play for the history lesson. All of the these are PS2 exclusives and still hold up remarkably well visually today. (We don't talk about AC:6 or AC: Assault Horizon *shudders*). AC:7 however seems to get more prophetic every day....

In 2001 Republic of Cenepan, a pretty large country in South Osea got tired Osea's drilling companies on Saint Omar island, which (I assume) the former claims. So FAC waited until OMDF training above the said island, shot down an airliner and proceeded to declare war and begin an offensive during the whole mess.
