💌 Surprise! Here's another envelope for you. Things seem scattered everywhere, but that's the nature of summer days. My brain feels rocked around right now, but I managed to stitch these memories together, they mattered a lot to me for days that were so easily slipping between my hands. Look after yourself okay? I hope you manage to have a good breakfast soon.
In this envelope, there's the last remnants of my last place before moving on to my current one. There are routines starting to build. Routines that break. Substitutes for the old pier that will never be the same. Dinners that I hold dear to me. A birthday (mine!). Dumplings (flaws and all). I dusted off my film hobby again. I cannot be the only one who gets a lot of birthday anxiety, and I have to say silly me there was nothing to be worried about for that day that came this year.
How is your corner of the world? I recently met one of you! It made me warm and reminded me of how insane it is that I have this space.

My corner of the world feels distant. Still in lockdown but somehow the days pass by quickly. Too quickly for me to grasp and process them. Loneliness and grief is present but I’m trying different ways to cope & to keep on living. October's a birth month for me, but I just end up crying right after I woke up. I miss my mom. We didn't celebrate as much as we usually do before. hello clara! in my corner of the world, it still feels dull, but we recently received news that there’s a possibility for face to face classes soon and i can’t wait for that, the online set up isn’t really my thing as i get distracted very easily. anyway, life has been a rollercoaster for me. i keep doubting myself and my abilities due to the rejections i recently received. but i always get reminded by my friends that everyone has their own phase! and that i dont need to doubt my growth and compare it to others, for now i’m just a seedling, but i will soon grow into a beautiful flower. also, i just want to say that i’ve been watching you since 2017. its crazy to think that i practically went through my middle school years with you. i’m graduating from high school in a few months and im just really grateful to have found your channel as it helped me a lot and opened the door of studytube for me. i wish you well in your life journey! :) - bee

Dear Clahrah, It made me so happy to see this pop up on my feed today! No matter when or what you post I will always be glad to see your videos. As for my corner of the world, life has been blue but moving. I've just finished my first semester of university and although it was incredibly rough at times I've managed to end it with results that I'm very happy with. But of course grades aren't everything. I've been too in my head, anxious as hell and it feels like my own brain is against me. I'm trying to work on that. On being nicer to myself, on being in the moment and focusing on where I am now instead of what's coming in a few years. Your vlogs help with that. Dear Clara, Lots of things have happened and there is so much uncertainty as I look at my future. I have secured a spot in my honours program but I worry about what will happen after that as it is so competitive and difficult to get into masters for the degree I want. There is also the pandemic as my state is awaiting a new rush of cases in a month's time and how that will change how we'll live but for now, there is not much I can do. There is something so soothing about looking at memories that seem mundane but are truly something that mattered a lot to oneself. hello clara, great to see you back! my corner of the world has changed in the last couple of months or so. i have graduated and it suddenly feels like i have entered a new chapter of my life, one that seems to be so full of uncertainty and hope at the same time. trying to stay optimistic about the future and slowly carve out my future whilst returning to my old hobbies, catching up on tv shows and books that i have been meaning to read for the longest time! the sun has started to set a lot earlier and it is getting colder so i am indulging in oat milk lattes and meeting up with friends in cafes as much as i can. despite the hectic schedules and rapid changes in our lives, it is always heartwarming to be in the company of friends and i am keen to cherish the moments that i have with them. i just wanted to say that your channel has been a source of comfort, your videos are gems. excited to watch the video! take care. all the love, fatima

hey clara! always happy to see you well. this video in particular emanates such a pure warmth. my corner of the world is currently small, lonely but comfortable. days alternate between blistering sunlight and gloomy greyness - possibly a reflection of my psyche. writing music has been especially difficult. as someone whose identity is so intrinsically glued to art, facing the realities of being a musician in this generation has been difficult. nonetheless, the days slowing down has been nice, as it's given me the time i so needed to take a step back and reevaluate my pathway. i've been trying to dip back into old rituals, like regular yoga and reading sessions. i do feel myself getting a bit too comfortable though - although putting myself out there is an incredibly draining process, i enjoy riding the chaos that comes with it. hope you are taking care of yourself! Dear Clara. It is so nice to see you again and to be able to watch your vlogs. I started watching them the same moment as you started making them. I think we are around the same age. How are you handling 'adult life'? My corner of the world feels really small and sometimes hard to breath in. I (felt like I was) thriving when I was in university, but ever since starting 'adult life' I have a hard time. Struggling with a recent trauma diagnosis of my mental health, not being able to find a job that matches my degree, etc. But I believe it is a part of my journey.
