I appreciate that you're on the hunt for older books! Sometimes there are gems, but as you said, they can also just be DnD ... but still a few gems!

@@de.bickel I actually really love hunting down older fantasy books, in all honesty it’s where my heart truly lies with reading haha. But yah the DnD vibes can be very strong.

Yup, the Dragonlance books are inspired by (or inspire???) D&D (I don’t play it either). Same with the Drizzt series. Very “standard” fantasy but fun 😝

I had no idea the Drizzt series was also very d&d like, I wanted to check that out at some point, I guess I’ll see how my adventures with Dragonlance go before I try drizzt.
