They put the shad in round buckets (tanks) because if you use a square bucket or cooler, they go straight to the corner and die.

I fish Percy a couple times per week and I know exactly where y'all were at. I fish from a little 12' V-hull so I don't usually bring a cast net, but after seeing this video I'm definitely gonna bring one out and go for these hybrids.

Percy Priest can be deep as you want or as shallow as you fear in a boat. It goes from 100 ft to 3 ft instantly in some places. I prefer fishing off the bluffs around the Fate Sanders area.

I had heard the thumper is only a cold water technique that really works best in water over 20 feet! Ive been really tearing the Hybrids up for the past three months here in SE Texas!. Nothing beats Hybrids, not the best eating fish, but darn sure the best fighting fish!

About 8:30AM in 20ft of water recently we had a 8.5lbs and 9.8lbs couple of Hybrid Striped Bass in our boat. Those things can get enormous

Not sure. I would think clearer water would be more helpful
