The Gerg game is based on the Atari version of ET!!! Considered one of the worst Atari games ever! 😂😂😂😂😂

I could easily tell it was ET. I had the game as a kid in the 80s. Played it in the Atari 2600

Love the look of this store if I was there right now I would take pictures and I wouldn’t mind buying ET and BTTF merchandise. Love the Elliot and ET model of the store.

It's not really torn, the 'bite' is just black. But it's frayed along the bite edges to sell the illusion a little better.

It's definitely an interesting concept. Ultimately, I think it's cool, but also strip malls are still a thing. Maybe not so much a video store, but you can still go to a theater and an arcade. I'm still remembering how immersive the early tribute stores felt. Halloween horror nights with Beetlejuice, Jurassic world and the first holiday tribute stores haven't been beaten yet. Jurassic Park 30th came close, but not quite.

Gerg's Adventure appears to be a recreation of the ET game for the Atari 2600, which is a fantastic detail.

Love it. I'm 50 this year and absolutely grew up in video rental stores and arcades. Plus movies like E.T., Back to the Future, and Ghostbusters were literally the movies I saw at the theater as a kid. Nostalgia overload!!!

I'm quite a bit younger but the video rental store was still very much a part of my life growing up. I remember the transition from VHS to DVD.

The beautiful 80s arcade carpet! Yas!!! Are any the arcade games actually playable??? That would be pretty wild if so. Also the team member just hanging out at the counter of the video store. That's hilarious.
