Summer UK Fly Fishing for Wild Brown Trout with Dry Fly

This was filmed only a week after my last trip to the River Exe, a week where the level had dropped after the rain had caused an increase in the flow. The River was more relaxed and so was I. The fly fishing was still challenging for the wild brown trout but I felt more at ease.
This video took longer to edit due to me just not having the time, so sorry for the delay guys and thanks for watching!

Lovely Vid mate!!! ..... Do you never fancy running a few nymphs through that river, some of the water looks perfect for it.... Lovely to catch on the Dry tho, it's my fave way .... but can't help thinking if there are that many fish taking from the surface, there must be loads more down on the river bed..... Keep up the great work mate, i always look forward to watching :)

Hi Brendan. I know there are lots more fish deeper down and they are larger too but I just love dry fly fishing. My background is course fishing and for fly fishing I need that visual connection. If the larger fish rises for my dry then I’m honoured. If it chooses to stay deep then I’m happy to give it its sanctuary 😀. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate your comment 👍
