ngl i wish they strung out the Gregory janine stuff a little longer. One cause Janine needs to date more ppl. Hyperfixating on one man and not playing the field is my gripe with a lot of ships/otps in tv. Manny could have been a good between relationship, or another type of man. Gregory is cool for end game but they could have gotten a lot more story from having her get more dating experience.

I was afraid if they rushed it, the show would end.. or if we had a slow burn and they dated other people in between.. they would lose their fan base and when they do finally get together..we won’t either care or the show could end without us enjoying seeing them navigate through their growing relationship.

Tyler said the first 3 seasons was the build up. It was to show how the friendship developed. I think throwing in another relationship just to kick the can down the road for what we all knew was inevitable anyway would cause a mutiny among some fans. Dating just to date actually wastes a lot of time - in my opinion

Yeah, that writers strike caused a lot of shows to be delayed. Originally there would have been 22 or 23 episodes. We will just have to wait until Sept or October for them to return for the Fall season.
