Summer vs Autumn- Does your art change and does it have to? Here is what I have learned...

The more I paint different subjects, there more I discover new styles hidden inside. It is a bit odd though. I will put it down to the Aspergers (always great for doing things slightly differently😆 ). Thanks! I am loving working with the autumn colours. Deb xx

I really love how you incorporated some more transparent mediums like the ink. It really livens your paintings up! I enjoy learning about more opaque mediums from you, but I am a big sucker for transparent things.

Where I live, we have only had green and yellow/gold leaves on the trees until literally earlier this week where the reds and oranges are popping in.... We also have the purple asters dotted around the fields- so magical!! I am in upstate NY in the Hudson Valley for reference. New England however, is most likely at peak or just past it. Autumn never disappoints! Nature pulls out all the stops until she gets ready to wind down for winter. Since I am still fairly new at painting etc, this will be the first time I even attempt an autumn scene 😊
