Summer Wardrobe Declutter | Sunday Reset

Kicking off summer with this massive closet clean out video that has been long over due. I wanted to continue on staying productive. I was able to organize and rearrange everything in my closet. I also minimized my wardrobe by going through every article of clothing I had without getting rid of everything. I tried on a lot more of my thrifted clothes I wasn’t sure about it became an almost try on haul! I donated what I no longer could wear anymore. This a whole thirty minutes of a chaos but a realistic (to me) closet clean out. I will say I definitely need new hangers and an actual shoe rack because what I have is not working. Other than that I’m satisfied with the final result. I hope this helps you find some inspiration or motivation on your cleaning day. I love an empty box haha. I dont know what I am keeping them for either. Its hard to see yourself in outfits that you wouldnt usually wear. You did a great job at decluttering. I could do with doing this too x

Hi! It’s so funny, I think that keeping random boxes is just subconscious at this point. But I never get around to reusing the ones I keep. And I agree, trying different clothes or styles is a work in progress. I always resort to my usual style or comfort zone. I’ve been procrastinating going through everything in my closet. Hello! Interesting information thanks! And that honestly makes sense! If you’re referring the adidas track pants that I thrifted. I found it in the women’s section and just assumed. I must have misread the size since women’s use similar metrics for sizes haha.

I don’t think I have a belt that would go well with the denim dress unfortunately. But that’s such a good idea, thank you for the suggestion. It would definitely help make it look more fitted and break up the outfit! I’ll have to keep that in mind. x

Hello! Yes, I do believe I mentioned it in the video. But anything I don’t keep I will donate somewhere nearby me if it’s in the condition to donate! Or, if I know someone that I can give away certain clothes that would get better use out of them than I would. Thank you for asking!

I noticed that some clothing items don't match your undertone/color season. I would suggest getting a personal color analysis done. I think that would help you a lot! Also, looking at your pant organisation, I think it would work better If you put your pyjamas with your pyjamas (preferably pyjama bottoms separate from pyjama tops). Same goes for workout clothes, sweaters (thin and thick separate), etc.

Hello there! Thank you for your input, I do appreciate it! I agree that a lot of my clothes need to go. Most of my wardrobe needs to be updated. I just don’t want to get rid of everything all at once. I don’t find that to be realistic. However, I do find color theory to be interesting. I wasn’t always entirely sure on what my undertone or color season is. If you have further information on what I could be, what would you suggest? I am curious.
