I agree. 40 or 50 years ago, computers started to rapidly change the world. But who remembers the world famous computer producers of that time ? Where is Atari, Texas Instruments, Commodore and others ? Only IBM has survived as an important company. The same goes for AI. It will surely change the world. But the biggest growth will lay in the applications of AI, not in the businesses that produce the chips. The current price/earnings ratio is irrationally high. So yes, that bubble will burst.

I predict a further spike in bond yields and a decline in stocks. Seems hard to see a scenario where the 2023-2024 bull market continues at the same pace. Volatility is almost certain to be significantly higher. Maybe in a year when things are clearer in terms of Trump's policies and effects we can see a longer term rally.
