Great show. Capt Dave, you try to get them off the bottom and the vegetation so they don't get wrapped up. And if they do the hook will be penetrated so they'll be pinned to the vegetation or mat. Like bottom fishing for big groupers and snappers. You want to get them off the bottom before they get wrapped up. I know my salt water buddies laugh when they see the big gear we use when flipping for bass. But you hook up to a 8 or 10 lber and have 20 pounds of salad you need that 65-80 braid and big stout rod to crank them up. And you set the hook hard because the bite when your flipping can be so subtle. You can barely feel it but dead weight sometimes. So you never know. Could be a dink or a giant when you feel that little tick tick. Anyways buddy have a good one and get to flipping!
