Bernadette Teaches Music I hope so too. I have heared of the Berlin Uke Fest and I saw that it was during autumn break so there is a chance that I could go? I don’t know if my parents would want me to travel alone to Berlin but we’ll see! Would love to go there though!

I have got callusses on my fingers since week 2, but now they are looking really ugly and feel really hard. Is this all fine or shall I take care off them? I really learnt a lot because of you, thank you so much for that!

Hi! I will talk about my own experience since I am not the best person to ask about this topic. Honestly, I have never really taken special care of my calluses. Sometimes it comes to a point that my skin will kind of peel off when I play very frequent for long periods of time. I'll then try to just let my skin heal and play a little less so that my calluses develop properly. surfman88 The chord chart that is tuned GCEA is for sopranos, concerts and tenors. Since there are players in this community who play the baritone (which is tuned DGBE) too, Bernadette added the chord charts for the baritone tuning. Is this what you were asking?

Mam please tell how to switch from D to Em on ukulele. Please help.

Hi! A tip I could give you is stop pivoting your hand when you switch to Em because when you play the D chord you'll notice that you lift your wrist up to the left and towards your headstock. For the Em you want to release your wrist so that your fingers are kind of perpendicular to the fretboard. Does that help? Keep on practicing the transition to develop the muscle memory!
