here is the 1303 cam in my bone stock 1988 RV 454 the 1303 sounds better than the 1302 but there basically the same! never ran this one at the track so i don't have back to back comparison on the 1302 and 1303 ,if your using peanut port heads like both my 454s had the motor in the black 68 Camaro had ported 236 heads but the one in the red 69 had untouched peanut ports! if you have the money take the peanut port heads and have 2,19 valves and bowl porting with a good valve job and they will be as good as stock 781s (and obviously a set of big valve ported 781s would be best)

Same thing here with 2 motors I did a 289 intended to make power, balance, forged, steel, and cam that pulled to 5,500 then it comes on hard to 8,200 , I lost to cars on the street that I thought were related to slugs, but at the track it gets happy and is totally a different monster , I've finally got the answer to what was a phenomenon to me, it's tire revolution and 0 spin at track, nothing wasted and motor is doing what it was intended to do, slug on the street , runner at the strip , with 391 gear I think it will run well in the street also, gear is tough on street payment.
