Matt, I think it's great that you take the time to put these tutorials up to help others. I love that you actually say the keyboard commands to use the tools and everything else. Thank you! One question with the river running across the ground. What would be the process to have the river cut into the ground and flow in its own channel instead of running on top of the ground? Does that make sense? #Mtmograph #lowpoly #cinema4d

Great work with your tutorials. I have been a MAX man for over 15 years, but your vids really took me back to when i first got into modeling and animation. No matter the tool, it's the instruction that makes the learning stick. Yours is excellent. Calm and personal and with great authority. Keep it up. Buzz me on twitter (mvirenfeldt).

Hi Matt. First of all, THANKS A LOT! For your time and your tutorials! They're great! I'm new in C4D and I've decided to learn thanks to your great works. Just got 1 question. There's something that happens when I try to select a point or an edge or the polygon face of an object, for example, I activate the option "Polygons" and when I clic on the polygon, it turns like I'm selecting all the object, and it's color turns to a light gray and then I try to move that polygon and nothing happens. What I'm doing wrong? Thanks a lot again!

How do you disable the diagonal subdivisions that appear across the background plane in the render? I really want the polygons to be square in the background, but I've searched everywhere and can't find out how to preserve their shapes in the render! :(

thanks so much for the video, helped a lot! i have a question: i always have these twisted lines (from the deformers?) around every single one of my cloned trees which makes it hard to see the scene. you don't have them around yours...do you know how to turn them off? (i already tried using the filter but nothing happened)
