Thanks for the comparison. I've been researching shuttles and most sites are void of dimensions. Weight is another factor that is missing. I finally settled on the HDI shuttle which is very similar to the Summit. With the 10 inch Garmin 106SV it all weights around 30 pounds. That includes the HDI pole, with 34 transducer, Black box, Amped 32 AH battery and HDI shuttle bag. Outside dimensions are 15" wide by 12" Depth by 16" high (with the pole and transducer in the holder.) The transducer and tripod stick up about an inch above the bag. The width and depth were my critical dimensions to get it to fit in my snowmobile rack along with my Buddy heater , 5 lb propane tank, auger and other miscellaneous items..

🤣The Summit is "smaller." It's shorter by an inch, narrower by almost an inch (and like almost 4 inches when shuttles are on their respective docking plates). The ArcLab is an inch shallower- so overall the Summit occupies less space- about 5 square inches, and like 250 square inches when on their respective docking plates. Summit is also lighter, doesn't have gaps all over it (that fill with water), doesn't dent, doesn't gouge the crap out of everything (like a fiberglass boat) when it's not in a bag, and is stronger. Funny how an inch on the Summit is "a whole inch," but on the ArcLab it's "a tad." I own both also, the ArcLab looks nice (in the powder coated model that hides the crappy welding), but that's about all it has going for it. I like the smoothness of the ArcLab pole, but the fact that it doesn't telescope down is a deal breaker. Summit pole gets the nod here as well- even though it's pretty basic.

These comparisons are so silly, put the Summit and Arclab shuttles in a bag and then remeasure against the Garmin Shuttle...Overall weight is more important that minimal size differences...

Arc lab is trash ordered a Garmin 106sv visor on June 8th and won’t arrive until the 24th of the month. Anything more than 5 days is trash!
