Amazing. I just wanted to be reminded of what the river was like - I miss it! - so I watched your Mildura-Renmark video. But I couldn't help but watch to this point, and I got emotional at that dancing seal, so excited to see you. Congratulations on that epic journey. And thank you for generously sharing so much of the journey with us!

Great leg! Great series! So impressed you got that drone footage in the middle of Lake A! You certainly wouldn't want it windier hey. It was a following sea for our tinnie crossing at the end of our earlier this year.. Thank you!

Brilliant job - well done and congrats Andrew. It's been enthralling to travel along your journey through your fantastic high quality videos and blog. I can only imagine the work that goes into producing all that content- but you've got a real skill at bringing us along with you. Congratulations. You've inspired me to get into some long trips in the kayak - the Murray looks enticing thanks to you.

Top work, fantastic video of the entire journey which would have been an epic undertaking in itself, let alone paddling great distances every day. That hand operated lock at the end is an effort in itself. Pity you didn't have smellavision as it can get on the nose in the lock at times. Very envious of your effort and planning. Cheers.

KZbin has jumped me from the Biggara episode to this final one. Tailem Bend was a major loco depot in the steam era. One lot of locos for the hard haul through the Lofties; others for the race to Victoria or pottering into the Mallee. It is also where Murray water is piped to serve the Tatiara. That lighthouse at Narrung is the only inland one in Australia. It has been restored, but is lit only for ceremonial events. It was good to see the instructional side of your safety preparation. I watched the Pink & Blue tinnie fleet arrive from Bringenbrong one year (actually the final third: that fleet splits the Murray into three parts, one third each year). Those boats had a coastguard escort to cover the safety. I did it with a fleet, ~5.00 ex Wellington for first light at the end of the channel markers. Chop like yours, but my lean-aspect boat glided through all. We have to stick mid lake: coastline is too shallow. We came up the main channel via Clayton. I've been through Tauwitchere on a club rally, with committee members operating the winches. I've also crossed the lake on PS Marion. It can cross without passengers in most conditions. To convey passengers, it has capacity restrictions, must carry full solas equipment, and is allowed to depart only if the predicted wind strength is below a set threshold. As with so many of the voyages which are serialised on youtube: it is a deeply emotional moment running onto the sand at the mouth. I did it over lots of holidays, not one grand voyage. In one year I had been at Hume Dam from below; my deckie filled a bottle with water there. Only weeks later, I was at the mouth, and emptied the bottle. Now to watch yours in full, in sequence, and to complete several other sets, also in full and in sequence.

Good work mate, what an awesome achievement 👏 Thank you so much for sharing the journey with us, I have loved watching everything you have put together. Bit sad about it all coming to an end but really happy for you to have finally gotten to the end. Loved that celebration dance from the seal also! Fantastic work mate, definitely earned a cold beer lol. Looking forward to any future adventures you might undertake. Thanks again and well done mate 👍

Been meaning to ask - did you use your water filter during the trip? I’m planning something similar and wonder about water quality and in particular agricultural chemicals and industrial waste that filters may not be effective on…

Thank you for the time and effort you have put in to produce such an interesting and scenic series. Because of your and Amy Outdoors inspiring vlogs I and 3 other geriatric paddlers spent a very enjoyable three days paddling sections between Brigenbrong and the Hume earlier this year and we have plans to return and fill in the missing sections. What's next for you I wonder, perhaps you could resurrect your white water skills and do the Snowy from source to sea :) Thanks again.
