You can modify ever little handling value of any car in GTA. Yes there are cheaters in racing. It's competitive at the end so take your guess. If done smart it's basically like fps cheaters with a "legit" aimbot with human-like settings to not get called out. Too little evidence to point fingers, for me this dude just took advantage of curb boosting. That helicopter clip though was sus....but could also be de-sync with view distance combined

It's just the fact that Charles, (Summit) takes the racing serious on NoPixel, as does most of the racers. They have an etiquette within the group, thats what Charles always starts in the rear of every race, he likes the challenge of passing every driver for the win. The fact that someone has one of the pure fastest cars in the server, and sees them going out of their way to curb boost when they have an already fast car, is just frowned upon. It's not the end of the world, they will handle things and all will be good. There will always be the inadvertent curb boosting when racing, but blatantly doing it is just meh.

@@Birdanerd Lmao bad take, this server is about playing by rules using exploits in the game's code, that can't be taking care of easily or maybe not at all, is not cool on a server that is about RP. He's also been shown to be able to take a 90 degree turn at 100 miles per hour, most likely using another exploit in the game. You can use that all day in gta online, no one will care, but in a rp server like no pixel it's scummy.

There is "socially accepted curbboosting" as summit pointed out and then there is whatever this dude in the dom was doing. It is a fine line and you need to learn what is the accepted standard in the server and what is not. If you cant assimilate, then gtfo!

Open Talk about racing cheat options What can be done. - You can modify the vehicle acceleration. (0.50 default so if somebody sets it to 0.75, yeah) - Up-Shift and Down-Shift can be adjusted. - Brake force can be adjusted. - Mass of the vehicle can be adjusted. All vehicle properties regarding handling can be fine-adjusted so it ain't easy to detect it right away. There are some ways to prevent curb boosting, but it comes down to small issues with de-sync.

For that to be solid it would require to scan from a ring0 which it doesn't it's just within the game FiveM itself is not even closed-source. And there are core flaws in GTA itself. But sure if someone would try as simple as only changing values over CE it won't work.

@@thespaceproduction5505 In GTA5 whenever your vehicle hits a bump, you gain like 1-2 mph regardless of your vehicle's top speed or acceleration. It's bug in the game. It's been widely agreed upon in the server to not abuse this bug in the server and overuse in these races can be considered meta since it is bug abuse. The racer's usually just talk it out instead of bringing it to admins since it doesn't really *ruin* anyone else's content, however his car is one of the fastest in the city at the moment so to use that to make it even faster is quite dirty.

? The only assumption I can make from this reply is that maybe you don't know they are on a very serious RP server where bug abuse is very much not tolerated. Bug abuse can lead to unfair and unearned advantage. There are plenty of ways to go faster but you gotta use your skill and the power of roleplay to achieve it outside of bug abuse. For example; You may speak with your mechanic and ask them to use higher quality parts on your vehicle, you may go and purchase upgrades similar to GTA5 online and with a modded twist of illegal aftermarket parts, ask around the racers after the race to find out where you can find Nos and other illicit boosters such as the tuner laptop. The worry is that the racing will be less role-play and more like GTA online which is exactly what this server rejects. It's a roleplay server so cheating doesn't inherently mean using a "Cheating program"

its basically abusing a mechanic in the game GTA, when cars in GTA take bumps they gain speed. so going on and off curbs gives you speed boosts over your cars capabilities. which is commonly called curb boosting. in GTA online races its used all the time. in rp its frowned upon, specially when driving on long straights. driving in city you ll curb automatically taking corners and evading cars, so thats no problem. but that thing that he did on the bridge is kinda `yikes` for the rpers perspective.

Essentially when you hit a curb or jump for example, you're rpms speed up. When you land you get a speed boost. So because curbs work the same way jumps do. Constantly hitting curbs increases your speed.

Little late to the party but there is boost cheats, the same ones you see people fly around in cars and shit. You can give your car a "nudge" hack where it pushes forward, even when the car isn't on, even when you lose power or stall, even when the car is broken you can give a boost. I caught a kid in a wager against a buddy of mine, doing those sea races on real GTA 5 online with those amphibious ATV's they added. Those races are notorious for taking a crazy long time because of how choppy waves are and how you slow down from hitting air. This guy would hit a jump and pass 7 waves off the jump, and double his speed. Later I found some cheats that offered the same thing, although I only wanted a money cheat for all the crazy expensive cars they added, but after a week of having them, Rockstar went apeshit with copywrite takedowns, lawsuits, and other various ways of ridding their game of cheaters, so that specific one isn't available anymore. Just know they exist and it probably wouldn't be something the 5M anticheat picks up, if that's all it is, is a racing toolkit.

I think it's not a rule but it's kind of honor code-y. Even in summit's last race, he doesn't do it consistently despite the opportunity to and only does it once when Wayne does it right in front of him. I guess it's just not exactly a sensical mechanic for imitating real life.

100% cheating in other races (see chopper clips with mary reacting or hutch), but in this race he's just a tryhard sweatlord trying to impress everyone in NoPixel. First, as far as cheating is concerned, i saw the clips mary and hutch reacted to in Sums chat from the chopper watching Pidgeon fly into that left hand turn in the city, there is no chance that's lag. It just isn't. Lag makes cars skip and kinda jump forward and backward, not kill 100 mph in 20 feet to make a turn with no other visual oddity going on. Also, good racers don't hang out in the back of the pack all race and DNF. Lets say hes NOT cheating though and give him the benefit of the doubt. If he is? whatever, nothing anyone can do; either way, the guy is purposely pitting other racers and repeatedly curb boosting down a straight highway by wiggling like a snake, lag doesn't cause that. Thats scum stuff. Just my take.

there is a bug that does cause cars that are nearly broken to drive very fast... i think Chang had it happen to him earlier in No Pixel 3.0 right before a race, showed sum and them and then they all decided it was a bug and fixed the car, bug went away.... i maybe wrong on who it was, but I def remember it. lol could be this.

Being a streamer a big one will especially help speed that application wait line up however. GTA's traction physics behave strangely, so when your wheels are on 2 different traction environments one wheel will spin slightly faster (approx 0.7 mph extra per swerve on a curb) and because of the way gta's acceleration works with wheel physics ALL of the wheels will try to match speed of that fast one on the curb, boosting your speed up. It's not necessarily cheating and most racing lines involve minor curb boosts, but it is bad manners and abusing a game mechanic if you attempt to curb boost the entire way that the guy being referenced has. Healthy examples of curb boosting can be seen from Summit, Kyliebitkin, GTAWiseguy, and HutchMF, typically you will only see them on the curb if their apex on a turn intersects with it, and they almost NEVER do the typical back and forth shimmy thats used to maintain that extra 0.7 acceleration.

@@Alex-hj5el there are countless clips of his car just randomly being faster than everyone else's, even other dominators. Wise guy watched him fly pass Marybin one race and thought it was scuffed. Turns out it is the same guy. Guy is clearly a racer and either modded his game or he has some kind of settings on that make his car faster in general.

the jump between the curb and the road makes a little rev and the jump in the rev gives the car a tiny boost is what happens if i recall correctly

It kinda is because this is roleplay not gtao and that car is supposed to top out at 150ish and hes making it go faster and because it's roleplay you have to be semi realistic and driving on a sidewalk in real life doesn't make you go faster

@Hue G. Rection You can get rid of it with a handling flag but that would require having to go through and edit every car again. Not only that but that handling flag does in fact fuck with how the car handles overhaul. So its not worth it

With curb boosting you have to explicitly say it’s not allowed or you will just have people getting more and more upset with someone who doesn’t even know they are doing something that is frowned upon or not allowed. If you keep it allowed in the rules but also have it where the community dislikes people who do it it’s just going to get toxic pretty fast. For example you can’t run the fight club and have everyone hate on people who hit someone when they are down if the rules allow you to hit someone when they are down, you just have to make it known that hitting when someone is down is cheating and you will get DQ
