Tbh I killed someone that had a Zabralo and an Altyn with a AKM with the Nightvision Scope, no stock, no dustcover and no muzzle on Daytime shoreline. i beg to differ, I have 1000hrs on tarkov and always see this shit at the end of a wipe / long into a wipe, hell I even do it myself, just make stupid rediculous guns and try to use it, last wipe I took every single component I could off an AK while it still being usable and just ran around with the grenade launcher, no mag, no stock, no dust cover nothing.

It isn't vacuum cheats, its much worse. They can literally teleport themselves across the map instantly then back to where they started and dump loot, rinse and repeat until all the valuable loot is grabbed then they sit and rife through it until they have what they want. If you're ever in a raid and the server starts shitting itself and the audio changes it means someone is using the teleport cheat; sometimes it can actually crash the server.

its legit a vacuum cheat, one seen it live in discord two multiple clips have been shown how it works. they sand still or run to a dead spot of the map and they can suck any loot from anywhere to there backpack, and they drop and keep whatever they want, drop the backpack to whoever paid for the carry or they RWT it off with in 24 hours. they get banned very fast but they make so much money its worth to pay 35$ and run it again

Yesterday I was in a Match were I couldn’t move the whole time. I allways got teleported back to my spawn. And it seemed like the whole server had that problem because nonone came by and killed me. Was there a vacuum cheater in the lobby?

I don't understand how vacuum, speed and fly/teleport hacks are even still possible. Those would be so easy to detect server side. Client doesn't need to know what's inside a container until it actually interacts with it and interacting with any container from across the map should be impossible. Just simple distance check would deal with majority of those cases.

You don't really believe that the majority of people you fight are cheating, do you? Do you actually play the game or just watch other people play? @@zackbobby5550 well, all i can say, my data coming from a guy i randomly met on an eft discord a year ago who was actively cheating for more than two years at that point, about 60 percent of people have some kind off assist on. Most good consoles are able to detect other users, according to him it´s about 60-80% of all player he encountered on european servers. and i´m talking esp, aimbot, godmode etc. A lot of em use their little tools "covertly" and tend to avoid most players anyway so it´s not as apparent as it seems to normal players.

Notice how his character model is going up in the air and back down as he 'teleports the loot to him', hes teleporting to all the loot on the server side and then back to where he is. Hence himgetting the notifications for searching loot in the bottom right.

From December 27, through January 12. BSG has banned 11000 cheaters..... 11000 cheaters in 2 weeks.. Let that sink in. With an average raid consisting of only 10 players per raid at an estimated 30 mins per raid(matching/loading/actual raid), the chance of running into a cheater is fairly high.

An AI anticheat developer "anybrain" openly stated about 30% of PVP gamers are cheaters in some way, whether it be anti-recoil to full-blown rage hacking. I honestly believe it after playing online games these past 3 years. Just look at COD and counterstrike. The same cheats have been around for YEARS and they do nothing to combat it.

I think I saw this vacuum cheat personally today, on lighthouse. Went in on a scav run where there were no scavs alive and there was no loot on or in boxes etc. We were chatting about how weird the raid felt and just then, my friend and I both die from one-taps. My death was while I was running and jumping too, lol. Was hella weird. Edit: That player is now banned.

They literally made a community discord for hunting cheaters and plenty of innocent players got banned for cheating when it turned out to be desync. Even more salt on the wound, BSG was so lazy they couldn't be bothered to verify the videos and were just straight up banning anyone who resembled cheating in a clip. BSG is lazy AF and cheating will never get fixed because it's their only income now. There is literally a video of Nikita himself talking about how cheaters are needed as a income supplement. as someone who has had a vac ban in the past (1655 days old) cheating ruins gaming. i stand against it and wish at a younger age i had learned how bad it is for the integrity of gaming. Cheats are not easy to just stop. It’s a tug of war battle with the anti cheat and cheats. It’s impossible to stop right now. These cheats are also highly sophisticated also. Even Valorant who has the best anti cheat has cheater problems. Also in order for BSG to implement more invasive measures to prevent cheaters they need their player base to have more current hardware which unfortunately the Tarkov player base does not all have current hardware or current software. Windows 11 for example has security measures that prevent tons of cheaters which is why Valorant has such good anti-cheat. Now I will say BSG can do more. Their are many preventative measures that can be implemented that aren’t and it’s baffling they aren’t using more ways to stop cheaters when they can right now z

I've been playing first person shooter games my entire life and I've always been competitive no matter what game I played. Escape from tarkov is the only game I have ever played where somehow the majority of the player base can hit the most insane shots on me the very milliseconds a single Pixel of my head is available to be shot on their screen. I don't understand how anyone can defend the players in EFT and say that they are just highly skilled when there are highly skilled players across all games but you don't see this happening in other games where you can't even walk around or peak without getting instantly headshot in a instant literally ebery raid. EFT is the only game that has so many players that are seemingly professional gamers with literally perfect aim. I'm someone who has a relatively decent amount of time to play and practice, so I spend a lot of time, you know, offline raids, and aim labs training. I've always been and above average player to begin with but somehow in EFT it doesn't matter I'm still shit on constantly by players I don't even see who shoot me in the face the very millisecond it is possible to see a pixel of my head. When I watch the video back there is less than a full second of available time for them to react but somehow they hit it. Either eft is all pros or we have a insanely massive cheating problem.

The very nature of Tarkov makes it near impossible to tell if your death was from a cheater or a hacker unless they are being incredibly blatant or reckless. The amount of times I've 1-tapped someone just running through the map I can't even count, a lot of those people probably thought I was cheating, I mean what info do they have to go on? They were running, they didn't see me, and then they got shot in the head and died instantly. It's impossible to distinguish that death from a cheater who was simply running across the map 1-tapping everyone.

@@Corzappy yes I fully agree. I'm more talking about the instances where you both know each other is there and you try to lean peak and tap each other in the head. There are countless times where I just tap someone in the head of course but there are also countless times where before my head is even visible on the enemy screen I'm already dead. Now you can call that desync or net code issues or maybe he prefired me and got lucky but my point is that this is the only game where the player base seems to all be "professional aimers". I have 5K hours in EFT I've been around a long time so I understand it's near impossible to tell who's cheating most times. Again I'm just saying that most games I play I am in above average player and I would consider myself to be above average in EFT but it just seems like the majority of the player base in this game is it far more skilled than in any other game I've ever played which is suspect.

The only way to defeat cheaters is to fight fire with fire. BSG created Sherpas program to aid players. Once again we need help against cheaters, create white hacker project, give those guys abilities to detect players to investigate cheaters and authorize them to ban blatant behaviors. I am pretty sure there are lots of players willing to do that like game servers admins did in other games. Make these guys able to enter raids anytime. Plus some streamers are chasing down cheaters in their contents to get them banned. I'm pretty sure more will do.

Doesn't the character kill counter also count scav kills? Unless it turns it off for you viewing a profile then the 198 kills includes scavs. I currently have 4 raids and 19 kills. Only 6 of my kills are PMCs.

having a 7+KD with only 150 hours is the extremely sus part. Only the most experienced players would have a 7kd and they would most definitely include a butt stock. Basically the multiple context clues are what gave away him cheating not just the stats, but that was a huge red flag.

@@hczman90 Maybe. This wipe does have Ground Zero, though. The scavs are completely stupid there, so killing a few isn't that difficult. I haven't played in awhile, but can't you swap stocks in raid? What if it was an experienced player on a smurf account that was in the middle of swapping a stock and saw him on the cliff projecting a major silhouette? He could've taken the time to kill him with a well placed headshot and then gone back to putting the stock on his gun. Not saying cheating isn't a major problem, but mistakes happen sometimes. I don't know how the new loadout saving works, but maybe this was a saved loadout without all of the required parts and the person just went into raid.

I have noticed this wipe that the audio is messed up. I can hear movement when im completly alone like several times a raid. Anyone else has noticed the same? I call out movements to my friends the whole raid but no one is close. Ive stopped reacting to sounds now days since i think i hear stuff all the time (ive played for years and this wipe is the only one it has been like this)

Played the game since before interchange was released, came across a fair few blatant cheaters but I think the biggest thing I've learned is to not rage over closet cheaters. You'll never actually know, all it does is ruin your mood whilst playing.

What youve seen working in Valorant is sending as little information as possible to the client and spending alot of money on manual review and statistical analysis. Kernel level anticheat doesnt even mean anyhting. VAC is kernel level, EAC is kernel level. What Vanguard does is obsfuscating its existence/sitting even deeper inside your system. Which doesnt actually help detect cheats better, as evidenced by the pretty much day1 valorant cheats, but potentially enables it to run code on your machine without any ability for even the best it-security people to detect that it does, which is a pretty big problem to put it mildly.

just so we're clear, the "vacuum" cheat is not showing up in the console. the console thing is when a cheater is sending packets to the server or the players so much that it lags them out and they cant move basically like a DDOS. this way the cheater can do whatever (loot, kill scavs or do quests) without killing players which is the only way cheaters can get reported right now. i've seen multiple streamers spread this misinformation.

Just my personal experience, i sometimes scav reserve and since ive played a couple wipes ive gotten a routine. Usually i leave with around 700k worth of stuff, mainly due to SMTs, SAS drives, sdiarys etc. In the past 10 scav raids i havent found a single one of these items. NOT.A.SINGLE.ONE.

I don’t think many people realize just how common hacking/cheating in multiplayer pc games is. Playing warzone 2019 and 2020 on PS5 and comparing cross play enabled vs disabled matches was insane. Hearing the opinions on cheaters from the console-exclusive friends compared to the friends who have played PC were night and day. People who haven’t experienced it much don’t want to believe how frequent and intense hacking is. Even the difference between PC players who have never cheated vs ones who have extensively is crazy how much people just don’t want to accept how out of control cheating is lol

I stopped playing this game year and half ago. It’s filled to the brim with sus players. I notice games like tarkov, that have gear or items people need to gather. It breeds so many cheaters cause people just wanna be able to hoard all gear and items without actually doing it the right way. Plus the game is hard already by itself to rank and progress, another big reason for so many cheaters. It got old real quick.

I feel like cheats are another part of the business. I'm pretty sure it is illegal to modify online games and can result in fines and upto jail time, because you are profiting off of someone else's product(this is why people don't sell mods for games). Not many games I enjoy watching over playing but Tarkov an DayZ are definitely one of them. You got too much to lose and since Tarkov isn't on Steam I won't be buying it ever. Cheating problem makes it even worse, this game seems to not have gotten any better at all even after all this time that BSG has had to improve it. Sad to see. Glad I can continue watching it at least instead of playing it myself though

You know server side processing would fix a lot of these problems. Right now the biggest issue is that BSG is making the client do a lot of this work. It needs to at minimum be a coordinated system of checks and balances for the items. Client says X, servers checks if X should be possible, if not fail.
