Beauty! That approach is a lot nicer (and quieter) than the way we came up from the other side. Looks like a great spot to camp as well 🙌

The blue lakes made for an awesome view from my campsite!

How long did it take you to get from Blue Lakes to the top of Sneffels, and then how long RT?

I’d say probably under 2hrs to the top and similar down. There’s not much of a trail the last 1200ft of scrambling to the top, so it’s slow moving up and down.

Firstly, Awesome video! I’m wanting to do this hike as well(my first 14er) but worried about how the trail is marked past the 3 lakes going up to the summit. Did you use any offline navigation?

Thanks man! I used the app AllTrails on the way up. From blue lakes trail to summit, I’d say about the first 90% is well marked. It’s just the last bit to the summit that is not. I ran into some more hikers during my summit and we kind of stuck together and figured out a path to the top. There are two ways up as well. The west approach is more technical and is on the saddle to the summit. The east approach is longer but way less technical. Hope this helps and happy trails!

It’s an incredible hike! Yes, the air pump is a great idea, especially at this altitude. I hope to go back one day. Happy trails!
