AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Hearing you guys talk about all the issues you are having with your cars is killing me! I wrecked my 2015 Mustang 2 months ago. It's totaled. I posted a few videos on my channel. I got that car brand new in 2015 with 7 miles on it. I put 71,000 miles on it in 7 years and the only thing I had to buy for it was a new battery and 4 tires. Oil changes every 6 months and put gas in the tank. It was awesome! Now I have a 44,000 mile used 2020 Ford Escape Titanium and already had to get the taillight replaced because it was getting water inside of it, they had to replace the backup camera and they had to do a recall on the brake system. 1 month in! How much stuff is going to break on this vehicle now? It was a rental so probably abused. It was driven twice as much as I normally drive. I am so mad at myself for trying to drive to Kansas City in the rain and hydroplaning right off the highway. SO DUMB!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I can tell you that the car issue is being caused by low voltage because you’re trying to clear a jar warning message is telling you that that latch is bad so it probably has an open circuit and it is drying power from the battery and when the battery goes low it puts itself into limp mode to protect itself

You might want to look into swapping that power steering pump with one for a larger 4 x 4 vehicle because the wheels and tires you have on that monster are a lot of weight to move for that little power steering pump that comes from the factory

To fix the power steering issue get a new pump and use atf instead of power steering fluid. Check the owners manual the power steering gearbox on a 7.3 needs atf

I’m on my 4th pump and 2nd box 🙃 all using atf
@zeke53442 жыл бұрын
@@SummitLife if the pump keeps breaking its a good chance that the relief setup inside the gearbox is broken and you need a new gear box
@johnh30952 жыл бұрын
You need a bigger pump for those wheels n tyres! You can lift Faith above your head easy (stock), but swap it around, I'm not sure she could bench you (lifted and big wheels) too many times! I'm sure there's a monster truck pump out there that will do the job!! Top tip, to make another standard pump last a little longer with your current jacked setup, do not dry steer ever (turning wheel when stationary)! That puts huge pressure on the pump because of your larger tyres being super grippy! Get her rolling before you start to turn as the frictional forces to overcome are greatly reduced!! (But you very probably know this, sooooo I'll get my coat!!)
@zeke53442 жыл бұрын
@@johnh3095 a bigger pump could be beneficial, but actually won't fit. The hydraulics inside the gearbox are shot and keep causing your pump to overwork itself
@johnh30952 жыл бұрын
@@zeke5344 I haven't a clue about that truck as it was never sold in the UK! Wouldn't fit anywhere but the motorway anyway!! All I was trying to say was fit an aftermarket uprated power steering pump which has the muscle to turn those wheels! I didn't know it's powered from the transmission......why not the auxiliary drive belt on the engine like most vehicles? Surely someone somewhere in the states has bastardised a mount and pulley system for these sorts of mods? If not, why not? It's the most stupid mod in the world if it requires you to replace your PSPump every 4mths, nevermind how cool it looks! Bonkers! It's still a kinda neat/cool but completely pointless modification!

The reverse issue in the gallardo might be e-gear fluid flush all the way to a new clutch needed. Hopefully it's just a fluid flush. The 125% reading on clutch wear might simply be the tech who replaced the clutch added the wrong values into the software when replacing the clutch.

I am going to say bore scoring on the Cayman.....Mine has the same issues and I kept saying nooooooooo. Then it got the bad tick sound. Definitely not lifters.
