I'm just learning cw, your videos are a great motivation, especially when I realize how much more I can copy now compared to a couple of weeks ago. I plan to get on the air first time in cw as POTA/SOTA hunter in a couple of weeks since QSO protocol is simple and speed is mostly moderate. BTW, really like your key. I also got a BaMaTech paddle and it's fantastic. 73 and thanks for your great content from Germany

Great to hear!, Hunting is great to get the juices going. I'm also learning. I've been on it for about 10 months. I got on the air as soon as I could kind of copy (if you know what I mean). Made lots of mistakes and sent a lot of ??. I say get on the air as soon as posible and you will get better by default.. 73!

Well, I know the QSO protocol well enough to not need to copy. Also I'm ok at copying callsigns. The story is different for ragchew. I can head copy but the speed has to come way down. Thanks for watching 73!

I've licensed since 1992. I'm back on hf with a Yaesu 891 with hamsticks doing mobile/portable myself. Amazing how you can get that small antenna to work on the Elecraft.

Yes F4WBN "Christian" is a very active SOTA chaser. I think I got him in most of my NC activations.
