FYI - The PoB doesn't contain the Wildwood ascendancies and Maxroll shows the Wildwood "Uber Lab" the same as "Cruel Lab". Basically - it's missing 4 points.

About the Animate Guardian transfigure, wait until more information to be sure if it will be better, because if you read carefully, its not an Animate Guardian that cast Smite, its an Animate Guardian that cast Smite of "Divine Judgment", and we dont know what that does, or at least i havent seen it anywhere

The online guide is great, but isn't it waiting for an update? At some point you're changing skills, though I don't understand when that's supposed to happen..ie Shield Charge instead of Leap Slam, Vaal Molten Shell, Vaal Haste. These are very vaguely mentioned in Build Scaling and Mechanics, but no clue as to when you're supposed to transition.

Hi, not sure if you'll see this but I think there are some discrepancies between the maxroll guide and the POB that I'd like clarification on. On the maxroll progression tab it says to use vaal molten shell but on the POB it just lists regular molten shell, does that mean regular molten shell will work but to swap to vaal molten shell when you find it? The other thing is that the endgame passive tree setups have slightly different setups between both the final setup/final cluster setup on POB versus the one in progression tab on maxroll. IE minion offence mastery on maxroll has 3 allocations (unholy might, +accuracy, and 20% offerings) while on POB it has 4 allocations (area of effect, +accuracy, 20% offerings and penetrate elemental resistances), different life mastery allocations and curse mastery as well as some other minor differences in layout. It has me very conflicted on whether to follow maxroll or POE tree and I would greatly appreciate some help! Either way I've been enjoying the build a lot, this is my first time reaching towards endgame in POE so I'm still kind of overwhelmed but your build has helped breeze through the game so far!

Thanks for the starter build! Quick suggestion: The socket colors on the dex bases, especially gloves, boots and body hybrids, would probably a bit much to get right in a league start scenario. Some alternative gem links or bases would be appreciated. Can't wait to see what the new skills will be! Meta shakeup finally? I gotta say i am very surprised to see the sentinel of Radiance minion not nerfed like the ruthless variant, though I am not complaining :P

Tainted Chromatics will be your best friend! In fact, early league, you'll likely want to corrupt (can do it safely in Bestiary) and then use Tainted Fusings for a quick 6 link once the price comes down on them.

Great video! Small correction, the AG with smite will NOT do the aoe increase t lightning damage, this was confirmed by sirogg and we can see in the video there is no aura. It is a regular smite but no debuff.

I've been playing SRS guard all league. Had alot of fun doing it. Its nice to see a different take on it. I like the proxy ring I didn't think about that. It solves some problems. You could also put a curse gloves on animate guardian. I used inpulsa+ gravebind, for big shock explosions during legion farming. It sucked without lol.

@@PeterLustig80 it is, but i'd say getting to really juiced maps it needs some highend investing. Especially on the defense side. As all you have is your health flask to stay alive. SRS do not tank the monsters for you.

I ran the Poison version in 3.21 and it does very well for mechanics with lots of medium-to-heavy HP monsters. Things like essences, beast farming, expedition, and 60% deli. Going up to super-juiced stuff like 100% deli is possible but takes more investment than its worth compared to other builds. If you want to do that kind of juicing then I'd league start this and make something else later. Or if you only want to level through the campaign once, you can league start EA Balista Champ, then respect to Champ Lightning SRS, which scales to the high-end a lot better.

I've not watched the Video yet, so I'm unsure if it's been addressed, but I'm looking at the PoB. It doesn't look like Path of Building is including the Relics from Unwavering Crusade, and I don't see you including those modifiers in your Configuration, so the DPS numbers appear lower than they actually will be. Adding in the below (stolen from Ghazzy) will help, I think: === Elemental Relic Ascendancy === Minions have 182-259 added fire damage Minions have 29% of physical damage added as cold damage Minions have 20% more cold damage Minions have 26-415 added lightning damage

Look in the party tab, you can configure PoB properly as if you have the auras from the minion as external party members. This will be more accurate for how you and your minions are affected.

FYI - Exposure via Elemental Army is not super reliable. If you're fighting an enemy with high Fire Res, fire won't be the highest damage type, so you'll never inflict exposure when you need it most. Even with balanced resists and scorch applied, it's still not guaranteed that fire will be the highest damage type. Hopefully he attacks fast enough to always apply it against Bosses, but something to keep in mind.

I like what you did with gems. I struggled a lot to get ag and spectres into the build. Instead of your utility minions setup I had one unset ring and then precision, convocation and my moltenshell was on cwdt. Probably still makes much more sense early on where sentinel does all the heavy lifting but later on for sure I'll ditch convo, get a second unset and run ag and spectres And one more thing about sockets, for day 1-3 (aspecially ssf) I'd recommend people to focus on arm/es bases, because you're not going to have jewellers and chromes to do 3-4 offcolour on each piece

You can drop Clarity once you get Eldritch Battery running. It's mostly for the early game.

Hi Thanks for the guide :) 1. Your maxroll guide miss later/finished tree only provide level tree. 2. You swap to bone-ring later on but where are you gonna fit determination then. 3. Last thing you forgot in final tree or later to swap convocation mastery for perhaps min life on death. (since you drop the gem later)

The later tree can be found in the progression tab. I should call out that bone ring is optional and you'd have to drop a utility gem for that, I'll do that. I'm pretty sure convocation mastery is swapped in final tree. It is separate from the leveling tree.

I am considering either SRS or Absolution Guardian for league start. What are the pros and cons between the two? I am not really interested in bossing, just looking to blast maps and do some Blights and Abyss.

Leveling through the campaign and early maps is almost identical for both since you just let your Sentinel do all of the work and only use your primary on bosses. For maps, SRS gives better clear but keeping your minions at or near max stacks can be annoying. You have to get into a habit of summoning every few seconds. Keeping close to 20 spirits up becomes necessary for harder maps and juicing. Absolution doesn't have that issue since you are always attacking into packs of mobs, but the clear is lower. Absolution can scale really well though with investment, but is more of a boss-killer than a mapper.

@@rednab2001 The FAQ question on SRS strongly suggests that the transmigraphied version will synergize with minion instability. Something along the lines of higher damage and added damage effectiveness, but with a much shorter duration

edit: I'm a moron, irrelevant comment. why not bone offering for the near block cap and life gain on block? Sounds like a much more well-rounded build, you can compensate for the loss of MS and attack speed with higher budget but the block is much harder to get in other ways / it's much more efficient to get block in this way than AS/MS. For easy content the extra attack speed and MS for shield charge can be pretty good I agree, but as an overall package spirit offering seems stronger no?

So I used this guide...it was great until maps. What I ended up doing was changing some nodes on the tree and focusing on block/ss. It's way smoother now. Sure you lose insta-EW...but survivability gains are big. It could be how I was playing the build. This is my first minion since sentinel. Not taking additional minor dmg though gems seems kinda wasteful. A large cluster jewel and some ghastly gems. Good guide overall! Thanks for your hard work+

I tried Brittle Ground Rare Boots on my Animate Guardian (Ghazzy recommended them in his written guide) and they didn't seem to work at all. No ground effects left behind, no Brittle debuff on targets he walks through.

Weird, I'm not familiar with that interaction working or not working. I'm pretty sure that Legacy of Fury should work, however, as it's just a nearby debuff effect.

​@@subtractem From my testing, Brittle Ground didn't work, maybe it is considered "triggered", as Animate Guardian cannot use or "trigger" skills. But I trusted in Ghazzy, the minion expert =) Hope this gets cleared up, because Brittle/Scorch Ground is very strong to have depending on your dmg scaling.

Isn't flat cold better on ghastly eye jewels? yes you get the hatred phys as extra cold but flat cold damage rolls of comparable tiers on ghastly eyes are about 30% higher than flat phys such that it overtakes the flat phys rolls.

I love your guide. I only found out that cold was better fairly recently in a private league when pasting in a bunch of jewels for trade. Phys damage on ghastly eyes turns out is just very low. Cheers and good luck for league start 😊

i played this as leaguestarter last league small tips for hc (if u want to be tanky) -> you dont need double curse, one curse (selfcast) is just fine, you dont need trigger wep, most of the time u have corpses to cast offering. you dont need skitterbots you can run grace AND determination + tempest shield, think u can even run defiance banner on top ? +haste/vaal haste on your "es" ofc. you can get up to 5.5-6.0k life easy on like lvl 90-92 or something, my gear was totally trash and i had almsot 6k with lvl 93, you can prolly push that to at least 6.5-7.0 or somehting on lvl 100 or close to 100. also i highly recommend to not use immortal call on left klick, also the spectre choise in this vid is questionable (specially for new players), maybe if u really want to play this you should watch some other guides on this too, not using chieftains, not even one .. i mean no comment ^^ area master has a small buff with alot of downtime and phale seraphim only makes ONE mob take more damage. (maybe its a super small aoe or somehting but its pretty much only a singel mob maybe 2-3 mobs at max) the 3 frenzy from chiefs is just the best u can use on this spec, there is no question about it. specially for mapping, since you get attack speed / movement speed from it too. legacy of fury on ag without gravebind is also kinda "questionable" again, also ambus charge ?? forgot the name but there is a armour that basicly makes him spamm consecrated ground on block with alot of chaos res (1alc unique btw) usually what ppl do if they wanna have 2 curses, they give the ag a item with +1 max curse and than use corrupted gloves with that scnd curse u want. ( so you get the scnd curse for bosses basicly for free with the small downside that you will sometimes remove his curse with your curse, since hes the one with 2 max curses not you. phazeplays made a really good generall guide for srs, maybe consider watching this too, to get a scnd option on things. because i personally think some stuff in this guide is not what i would recommend or do, its called: "[PoE 3.23] SRS DEEP DIVE: Guardian vs Poison vs Lightning"

Many of the choices that I made here are for making the build more comfortable for beginners that are playing Softcore Trade, though with a HCSSF angle. It seems like you watched the beginning gameplay and then skimmed the PoB without looking too closely at both because there are some mistakes here as well. - Melee Splash is in the PoB, it's even called out in the group label - Immortal Call was an experiment that I was using during the gameplay showcase (considering it next patch because it gets lots of CDR from quality), in the PoB I have Determ + Molten Shell. I mention this option in the video. - Re: Spectres, I've heard people say the same thing about Chieftans as you just said about Arena Master. Sounds like there isn't a consensus as to which is actually the best. In the Maxroll guide I recommend Chieftains early on since it's way easier to get.

@@subtractem hehe yeah i indeed only took a quick look on the page link from the pob (and there was no melee splash only multi) without importing it to pob ^^ i didnt mean to shit on this guide or anything, i just wanted to add that there is alot of ways to play it and specially on hc i would build a bit different. ah okay if u suggest chieftains early i didnt say anything : ) because i was wondering why u would suggest the otherones when there is chiefs that are simple and easy to get. my advice to maybe watch multiple guides wasnt meand to be rude or somehting too, i would advice everyone always to watch mutliple guides or look at multiple poeninja profiles to really understand the build and make the best out of it for your likings. thats why i kinda gave a bit of my hc/tanky take on the build ...and ur totally right i shouldent give my options when only watched like 1/3 of the guide sorry for that :3

Little addition, when aiming at a specific enemy while casting, SRS will Attack that specific monster only.

Why don't any of the maxroll guides have a loot filter link or something? One of the most important aspects of PoE is a good loot filter. I get it, loot filters are very subjective in what might be valuable from one person to the next. But, yall really should make one for each build that focuses on that build's items and general currency stuff. That would make getting into a lot of these builds so much easier. Instead of having to sit and read for hours what items might be good, and why.

If you mean make my own filter based on the item types you suggested, that's not what i'm looking for. I was trying to avoid sitting around for a few hours goofing with making a filter. I haven't played poe in a while, but i'm sure there's a way to share filterblade links or something like that.

I looked at the details for this vid and it's: twitch channel link, 2nd yt link, patreon, discord, maxroll link, pob link, update info, timestamps, there's no link to a profile on your main yt page in any info, there's no info on your twitch about stuff. Idk what you're talking about with that profile lin. Where exactly is it located because I'm missing like all of my brain cells and where that link is. Thanks.

Hi idk if u tested it, but will this version be good for mechanics like sanctums? I know poison srs is very good, but what about this version?
