Whenever I hear We’re Finally Landing, I don’t just see clips from the games he has talked about, but any game I’ve ever seen speedran, all flashing through on the imaginary screen in my head. The influence of the entire speedrunning community, let alone just the Summoning Salt channel, has left such a mark on something I’m sure you reading this feel pretty strongly about. It’s super cool that we can all talk about and even see how fast someone can do something that, in the big picture, is so mundane and powerful at the same time. The still interesting yet all to familiar documentation of the records going from a trust system to videos, and the ever decreasing times in games most of us have played, and seeing games be beaten as fast as humanly possible in times where we are alive is such an incredible thing to be a part of, even if it is just as a spectator. I did some work-out in my basement with this playlist playing today.This playlist is exactly what I needed. Everytime I want to work out my mind and body struggles between the easy choice of enjoying that extra free hour to play games or watch something and the path of discipline and dedication to my wish to change. Frankly Speedrunning is that exact thing in my mind. If we are being honest Speedruns aren't the most famous divisions of video games as a medium. Speedrunners are about pushing not only the game but their selves to the limit, even exceeding it. It's about aching to break free of your human bodie's limitations and go even further where no man has gone. That's how I feel every time I defeat my temptation to be lazy and do the right thing for me. That's what Speedrunning means to me. That's what SummoningSalt evokes in me. The never ending struggle to greatness and a reminder of a human's best trait. The ability to adapt and evolve. Thank you SummoningSalt.

It starts of slow, but then speeds up as the song continues, like the development of speed runs, they just keep getting faster and faster with time, until they reach their penultimate speed, which the song eventually does. Has Randy (aka HOME) ever said anything about his songs being so common on KZbin? Obviously he doesn’t copyright strike the videos, so he approves on some level.
