Where did Eukaryotes Come From? (geobiology)

There are a number of different models for how Eukaryotes first emerged. In this video, I discuss them as related to but distinct from Archaea, as emerging from within the Archaea, and as a merger of bacterial and archaeal ancestors. There are a lot of interesting research questions about where we came from!
