@PULSEMusicGroup I'm a former Beta Tester of Stagelight by Open Labs, also from the same home state that Timbaland is from, Virginia. Kid you not, when I paid $19.99 for the Timbaland Beat Pack and Loop Pack on that app, it was back in 2016, 2017, around that time period. Meanwhile, he had a meme on one of his IG posts that said, "I can give you all my drum sounds and you still won't be able to sound like me." Fast-forward to 2021, I find out that the same Timbaland organized Beatclub with several other people, only to starve his workers in their pockets. It's situationally ironic of how he's "the King of Music," but he's a horrible sound engineer. And he's very nasty toward his students in music. Not surprising to me.

I never even needed to be told lol. I could tell it was a money pit from right off the bat. Wasn't about nothing but trying to suck money from the pockets of people with dreams (who can be the easiest marks a lot of times, thats why theres never a shortage of get rich quick schemes getting pushed by scammers).

To keep it 100%. If you got real heat you will NEVER have to pay any radio station or DJ to play you. Artists are too easily gaslighted. If a DJ or radio station won't play you, you should work on your craft until you get something that's worth their air time.

@@SupastarJKwikonly true for major label artists. 'Tastemaker' DJ's such as Flex or Ebro get to play what they want. I've been playlisted in UK on BBC radio 1 and other radio stations and played on Hot 97 many times in US whilst being unsigned. I never paid one cent. All I did was send my music out to those DJ's, if they like it, they play it. I was then signed to Sony off of that radio play.

I remember getting a bunch of DMs from artists like Benny The Butcher and Da Baby saying they were doing a mixtape with indie artists to showcase them during the pandemic if you paid $300. Turns out it was a scam put together by their manager. I was SO CLOSE to paying that

These things are the outcome of EVERYBODY in the camp wanting to be in the spotlight instead of playing THEIR positions. Social media made attention, the new currency. Artist development went out the window, now were overloaded with mfs who can make a record on the toilet in the mall and go viral and make a quick bag. If someone truly believes in new talent, they would NEVER charge you. If anyt,they'll bevwilling to take a loss on you because they believe in YOU, not your membership fee. Beat club seemed shady from the start! All things considered, Timbo is a producer too! He may be rich but, he wants that money to continue to come in. Why wouldn't he take the best placements for himself. Paying him to submit your music seems ripe for "issues". Not saying he did this but, there are many stories of popular producers using other unknown producers to "ghost produce" for them (in fact he has done that but that's another story). Timbaland found a way to have massive amounts of unpublished musical ideas sent to him along with money. Not surprised these accusations have arisen.
