This is also my first experience with this anime so imma do a little theorizing. Maybe if he doesn't keep the granny's powers he might keep getting cursed by different ghosts or something. Or maybe this whole season or half the season will be about the granny and Ayase's grandma will help him keep the curse stable for longer periods or something. I don't know but I'm so excited to see what they're gonna do with this!
