As an American, I can't express how much I appreciate these small glimpses into the sumo world!

I quite concur. Sumo did not interest me the slightest bit until I ran across Jason´s Sumo channel, and I watched a few videos out of sheer curiosity. It slowly dawned on me that Sumo is a very serious type of martial arts. This channel here is the best Sumo channel I know of currently. The glimpse into the everyday training schedule is extremely fascinating. But also to see these soft spoken warriors cook and eat their meals each day is fascinating - eating seems as much part of their training as everything else, and they go about it with utmost seriousness.

Same. It's really neat that we can see what an entire training session looks like

Same here but I wish they had sub titles I would like to know what the coach is saying

@@jaythisguy9248 Turn the captions on. For me its in English and you can see what they're saying. Not sure if they are manually translating because its a lot of work. But the youtube AI can automatically translate too you need to select English in the settings. Its not perfect but its good enough to understand most of it.
See the full uncut practice was great everybody doing very well fan from ontario 🇨🇦 🍁 💪💯🙌

YAY‼Thank you for uploading the FULL uncut practices 🙏 It's difficult to get sumo coverage here in the states; we appreciate everything you show us❤Big Love from the high desert 🏜
As a westerner I find it amazing that young men living together 24/7 with all that testosterone and adrenaline that there is no arguments and falling out. That's a great credit to these wrestlers.
All of you guys are strong and you are all my favorite every one makes each other strong by practicing with each other since iv been watching i cant stop watching i love to see new videos and respect you guys 1000% much love from California Good luck my boys
@@kaz2507 yes! I’ve thought that too 😁& still stick together like brothers. I think the way they sit to eat it’s like a big family, mum & dad then lots and lots of sons. I was very touched at the New Year when Oyakata said they were all like his sons 🥰
Hello from America! Thank you for posting such quality sumo content. This video in particular is quite good because I get to see a whole practice without any editing. Good luck to all of the wrestlers competing in the July tournament!!
Longest training session I've witnessed in this stable. Much respect.. Good work, fellas.. look forward to the tournament.. Let's Go 👋🏽😬🤙🏾

50:07 Kuwae had a serious collision. He is in my top 3 favorite wrestlers from this stable! I have liked sumo from childhood and to have this glimpse inside their training center or “stable” is a real treat.
That's what I'm talking about! Keep fighting hard and getting stronger, lads! I'll be watching you on the dohyo tomorrow from the other side of the Pacific, good luck 👍
