You should give this game sound effects because other people were asking

If people made mods that changed the game and added stuff like online multiplayer, i would love it. This game gets boring after a while but has potential!

That certainly would be fantastic. Sumotori Dreams is twelve years old now. Can you believe it? :D I don't know what archee has planned, but a Sumotori Dreams 2 might be fun!

@@SumoCreations This game is older than me! Now that I think about it, why make a sequel to a game that only a couple thousand people played? It would be great though. If a developer is seeing this comment, remake this game.

How do we create these maps
@SumoCreations5 жыл бұрын
You're using Google, so do a quick KZbin search for tutorials on how to go about making Sumotori Dreams map mods. There's some great videos, and it was on of the things that helped me get started. If you visit the Sumotori Dreams page on Gravity Sensation, you can find a link to a quick modding guide, as well as an editor. It's very useful - I often use it to start out with when and idea comes to mind. When it comes to it, there's no magic secret when it comes to making maps. You've just got to do it, and keep plugging away until it works. You may have forget to put a semi-colon or backwards-bracket in a line of code. You've just got to find where you went wrong and correct it. I'm not a games a designer or programmer, but I have a good idea of what I'm trying to create when making a map. Eventually the numbers will start to paint a picture in your head. The hardest part is the idea stage. The goal is to make something hopefully refreshing, or with a different flavour. I think that I've achieved this in many of the maps that I've made, although the feeling of hitting a metaphorical brick wall is pretty constant now. My best advice would be to take any map mod, load it up in Notepad (or the sumoeditor), and play around to see what happens. For example, the "hot air balloon" that you see in this video was a result of experimenting with tubento's ball code. I had an idea of what I was going for, and tinkered with tubento's code until it did what I was hoping it would do. I don't pretend to completely understand it. Just remember, once you've made your map, save it in Notepad as all files with a .smo file extension. (For example, mapmod.smo) I thought I'd post a long reply, as you've made a few comments showing interest in recent weeks. I hope that this was somewhat helpful, and if you do decide to have a go yourself, I wish you the best of luck!

Geforce Experience.

Yes but what does that mean
@SumoCreations5 жыл бұрын
It's a screen capturing software program provided by Nvidia. Geforce Experience is required to keep the drivers updated for Nvidia graphics cards. It is also useful for optimising supported games to get the best possible performance to graphical quality. Furthermore, as mentioned, it comes with a very useful tool called "Shadow Play" that lets you take high quality screenshots, audio and videos of whatever your currently doing. Prior to this, I used a program called Fraps. It was very popular among KZbin gaming channels of the time.
