Like to see a better way to do it. Maybe a strong hydraulic or pneumatic shaker or vibrator to vibe the product loose, so that the bed doesn`t have to be raised fully. Years ago, I saw a guy who had a hydraulic vibrator installed on a standard framed dump trailer. He wanted it for the purpose of loosening big clumps of wet product that would stick in place. He would periodically deliver to a customer who needed his deliveries dumped inside a building, where standard straight-truck dumps could fully raise, but a trailer dump could not. He would use the vibrator to encourage the product to slide out, and gradually pull forward to dump out. That vibrator was a killer. I always wondered how much longer before welds started letting go, it was really a nasty, nasty tough shaker. Ugly, but very effective.

As always, so much more involved than JUST an upright and hook up for tow. 38 minutes for intro and rigging to do a 2 minute upright. Yep, I checked the clock. Just 2 minutes to actually put in on its wheels and flat. And on top of that you didn't show driveshaft removal, securing the frame forks, safety chains, or rear lighting. Mr. Hal most excellent job by both of you guys.

That lime don’t play. I honestly hate hauling it. I pull a dump myself and have almost rolled mine twice, both times with lime dumping in soft fields. Now I only haul it when I absolutely have to. Great job as usual y’all!!!! I hate for owner of truck, but looks like it didn’t do to much damage

We took the end off the hose and stuck the hose in a barrel if we couldn't put the valve in the down position. That was in our yard where we had everything available. With frameless dump trailers, it's not if they're going to tip over but when.

Mister Hal just a thought but you might get a piece of old fire hose 8 or 10 ft long and slide it over the lines of the dump trailer and clamp them off and that way you can put the stuff on the ground in fill it up and maybe not take a bath in the oil not tell you how to do your business just say it's all love your videos be safe and have a great day Sam

I've pulled a frameless dump many years. There's zero reason, IF THE VALVES on the pump is in the down position, there fluid should go right back in the tank. Now, not saying it's still not going to leak out the vent on the tank while in it's side. We've made several come down that are stuck that way. The only check valve in the system is at the end of the house once disconnected. If upright, we've done the same with buckets, or ran hose into the tank direct, yes tricky. Love your vids, really love seeing your old old iron still out making money. I also will add several of the west coast heavy wrecker channels, some big boys will millions in truck, do not catch the upright truck, let them all flop! Great job again sir.

I know the hydraulics on the slide on the bed aint suppose to be used for pulling but i have had to a couple times on strait line pulls . The hydraulics on that slide is stronger than the winch itself

Here in salt lake all of our end dumps. Have a break away pins on the bottom of the cylinder. So the trailer fips over so the truck stays upright. So all you have to do is replace the arms on the trailer.

I have seen a lot videos of these type of dump beds that has these type of problems of overturning on there side. Why not install some sort of out riggers to keep from flipping and turning on it's side. Seems the DOT and governmental FMSA will not stop this this very dangerous safety hazard on these dump beds. However if someone complains that the government is at fault will deny that they are guilty, but will put the blame on other people in manufacturers which doesn't care about safety but the almighty that money talks.

Great recovery Mr Hal. I like how you rigged that allowing for a catch line. The flatbed definitely got ahead of you. I was thinking that would happen with how high he set the RPM'S.
