I have a theory!! So the new Eclipse is significantly nicer than the old Eclipse. He’s much more open with his emotions, experiencing them outwardly. The old Eclipse was very closed off and hid his emotions from everyone else much more. As if he had more control over them. We know that the current Eclipse is made from Solar’s code, whereas the old Eclipse formed on his own. Solar and Eclipse should have relatively similar code, since they formed in the same way. There shouldn’t be anything that makes them different… …but there is. Lunar mentioned that he was made from Eclipse’s code. I don’t remember the video but he said something along the lines that Eclipse was having happy thoughts and didn’t like them, so he removed them and they became Lunar. Solar didn’t do that, resulting in his code still having the happiness. Therefore the new Eclipse would have it as well. I believe that the new Eclipse may have a chance for redemption due to the fact that he experiences more emotion than the old Eclipse, and feels happiness when he isn’t lonely.
