So . . . this is a song about the Msaki-Smash Afrika saga. You can hear Msaki's hurt and pain reverberate throughout the song. We get a glimpse of this in the opening of the song where she sings "Uzundikhulule ngoba uyazi andinawo amandla okunyamezela", which means please vindicate me because I can't take this anymore. This situation has made her question the depth of his love for her, if there's any ("Xa uthetha ngothando, uyawazi na umlando walo?) because love should prevail under any circumstances (Bathi uthando zizenzo.
