Yes it was the same for me, my birthday is on 22th of November so I never knew if I was a Sagittarius or Scorpio in western astrology. But in Vedic I have Sun and mercury in scorpio but also Leo moon, rahu and ascendant (the Leo moon I have in both). But I get what you mean, sometimes you just have a feeling.

In the western system I used to have Sun in Aries & Moon in Scorpio which described it pretty well but switching to Vedic I am a Moon in Libra 19:33 (Swati-4). Another thing that constantly amazes me is the strength and speed of this brain inside my skull! I am a student of engineering. Throughout my life I have been covering subjects for my exams in a tiny fraction of the time my classmates need. Like a day of studying compared to a whole week or more (yes, I am a bit of a last minute person!)
