God, Sun has separation anxiety and Moon fears containment and that is one HELL of a double whammy for everyone. Moon and Sun are under so much pressure and it's terrifying. If they fail they'll lose everything including their own autonomy and that's ... Horrific. Moon feels useless, Sun feels stupid, both are panicking... Jesus Christ this LIGIT made me cry

As an older sibling (how I see moon as to sun based on how they interact) this really hits home on a huge level. The feeling of uselessness in a situation and the self hatred and destruction that you can't help is a huge hit. As someone who grew up in an abusive home with a younger sibling this whole episode broke me and I'm really glad I decided to watch this episode before work instead of at work like I normally do. I can definitely say I haven't liked eclipse this whole time cuz he is very manipulative and it reminds me a lot of people in my pass. If he just wanted the star for the whole blood moon thing why didn't he say so in the first place. He tries to turn sun (the younger one) against moon. He reminds moon he can't do anything to stop him. Hell he's even willing to threaten his own brother to get what he wants! Idk if I can speak for others who have been through abuse and watch this series but this episode and the one where they got into a fight and moon punched sun...they hit home way more than I can explain. But passed all the negative of it hitting home those of us who have left the situations feel so much hope for sun and moon cuz we escaped we can hope they can too. I realize this is a story youtube thing and not real life and that the people behind the characters are going to play the story how they will but for now I won't lie this whole plot I'm holding dear to. I love the work being done and they way they play it out. I don't normally comment on these because I'm too shy to say something embarrassing but I had to with this episode. You guys are doing a great job and I can't wait to see how this thing moves from here even if it ends with eclipse and lunar (though I don't like eclipse I do very much love lunar the little waving arms thing has definitely become a new stim for me 😁)!

Honestly, this episode left my thoughts scrambled. I shouldn't have been surprised by Moon's reaction at the end, but I was! I am! It's heartwrenching to see him so scared, especially since it's essentially *Sun* he's scared of! Not that I can blame him. because we've always known that their time in the same body was torture for both of them in various different ways. Sun was scared to let Moon take control, because Moon hurt so many people. Moon had to fight so hard for control over their body when he wanted out, and he was restricted in so many ways even when he was out. As he's described it before, if he so much wanted as to *blink,* he had to fight for it. I think if they rejoined, after everything they've been through... Things would be different. I think that Sun would trust Moon enough to finally let him be free in their body, and that Moon wouldn't break that trust by hurting anyone. Or maybe that's just a wish on my part... And with this episode, we have the revelation that both brothers share the exact same insecurities. "I'm useless, I can't do anything..." Isn't that what Sun said about himself during their first fight after Eclipse killed that government worker?

I think the reason that moon Ran away at the end was do you remember the episode the fight gets worse when we lost control he punched his brother in the face and then in the Escape from eclipse in VR he made his brother promise that if he ever got angry again to get away from him

Oh, wow... Poor Moon. And also Sun, but... Moon really needs, like, a hug or something because this is... yeah. He's blaming himself for things that aren't his fault, he's having to face his worst fears, and he thinks so little of himself and his own worth that it hurts. I do love Sun trying to comfort him, though, and to sit back up, and that he went after him at the end. It is very clear how much these two really do care for each other, even with the rocky start they had. And given what Lunar said about not wanting his own body because he doesn't want to be alone, and how talking to others isn't the same thing, I kind of wonder how willing he would even be to go along with this plan Eclipse outlined for any long-term time. Like... sure, he goes along with what Eclipse says because Eclipse is his brother, but he has also shown his own independence and fondness for Sun and Moon. He even outright ignored Eclipse's attempts to talk to him for a little bit when he was engrossed in Kingdom Hearts that one time!

Poor Moon... he's so stressed out, Sun is stressed out.. so much is happening.. this is one of the few episodes that nearly brought me to tears, and it's really difficult to make me cry with these sorts of things.. i don't want to lose Sun, or Moon. This just makes me hate Eclipse even more. I really hope they can figure something out, and i really hope Moon will be alright.. the fact that i can relate to how Moon is feeling right now too.. stay strong you two, please..

Me too, it was a lot to take in before I finally broke down, I was actually crying just a few seconds ago. And same neither of us want to lose Sun and Moon forever, and as interesting of a character Eclipse is I hate him because all he's done is cause pain and torment for the brothers and simply won't leave them alone. I hope they think of something too, try and find Eclipse's weakness so that Eclipse's plan fails. Same, stay strong you two!

This episode was A LOT!! Seeing Moon actually break down and panic and Sun also panic was almost scary to the story and seeing Moon genuinely angry and yelling was also incredibly unsettling, Eclipse we, 299k people are going to beat yo a$$. Sun we can't lose you :((( Moons really like not exactly emotionless, but he doesn't get worked up like that easily. Moon you are worth it and not a mistake you absolutely are NOT a cancerous growth, cancerous growths don't ever even try to help, you have tried to much! Sun Loves you so much even after the questionable stuff that's happened, and the amount of time you've put into saving your brother will pay off. This actually made me cry (I haven’t cried in months to about a year). This… this is a lot to take in. But Moon, you are NOT a cancer. Even if you might have been once you have changed and grown into someone that all your fans (all 1000+ of us) love and adore. You are one of the few characters that I love (platonically) wholeheartedly, regardless of your blood covered background. I (We) love you and there is nothing that can change that. Same goes for you Sun. Have hope that Monty will keep The Star away from Eclipse. He promised. Have hope and faith even if you guys make up a plan on the spot. We are rooting for the both of you! Don’t give up hope yet!

A suggestion: why not just create a perfect replica of the star? Give Eclipse the replica, let him and Lunar believe it’s the real one, and Sun and Moon can go back to Golden Freddy and use the suppression spell thing to keep the other two away until something gets worked out. Or even,, what if a line of code was made to counteract Eclipse? Make it impossible for him to come out, or at the very least, make it significantly harder for him to actually do what he wants. Lunar doesn’t seem like that big of a problem, so I don’t think they’d really need to worry much about him

I hate to admit it cus this actually seems like the ideal thing to do but Eclipse he’s smart like very smart if they give him the star as soon as he gets it he’ll start tinkering with it cus he would want to make sure it’s real like when you get a 100 dollar bill you inspect it carefully to make sure it isn’t fake right so that wouldn’t work and on top of that the punishment for trying to trick Eclipse would be severe for the brothers because Eclipse is inpatient he has waited three whole months to get what he wants only to get tricked nah he would go to very far extremes to tell the bros where they stand next to him and that their time ran out a long time ago so in conclusion if they did this the bros would be screwed big time 😢

Give us the sweet fluff episode and Whammo! This absolutely captivating rollercoaster. This is my guilty pleasure robot soap opera and I'm so enchanted by the performances and emotional whiplash. Was seriously getting chills with Sun's pleading, and actually uncomfortable with Eclipse's slimy tones, and a pang in my chest with Moon's angst. For real though, you all keep outdoing yourselves. I feel bad for Moon. I feel like instead of putting all the pressure on Moon I think they should’ve worked together and tried to come up with a plan. Eclipse is the worst in all honesty. I feel like Lunar should intervene with what’s going on even though he’s not the brightest I still think he should at least try to figure out what’s going on, you know? Because Lunar isn’t all bad he still has a heart, he helped Moon with The Creators robot thing, so it seems that he does care at least a little bit for Moon, you know? Also Moon your not useless sometimes it’s hard to think of a plan under stressful situations. Even the smartest of people get stuck so your not useless or anything of the sort, your still smart and your you so don’t let this get you down. Anyway, I could talk a lot about how bad I feel for Sun and Moon but I’ll just keep what I have to say and if I need to add more I’ll add more. Anyway, great video today, I really loved it. It really tugged at my heart strings. Which made it really good. Anyway, keep up with the great work.

This episode is so upsetting how you can tell that moon is blaming himself but I can tell that sun feels like it’s his fault and he hates it and so does moon. But what scares me more is the thought that sun might do something to himself to try and get rid of eclipse because he feels like it’s his problem, but if that happend moon would never forgive himself and think that it’s his fault.

Dang, I cried (and smiled through it) when Moon was yelling at Sun near the end.! Moon never did it so harshly like that. I just want you to know Moon, that you were never a cancerous growth no matter what you think. Also, a cancer doesn't grow, it divides into a huge lump of diseases, but you GREW, you HELPED your brother by splitting apart. A cancer wouldn't help its victim. And look at Eclipse and Lunar from this point of view: Eclipse evolved into his own entity from your kill code, helping Sun not kill in the future, and Lunar suppresses YOUR kill code, so it's fine that you put the kill code into Sun.

moon character analysis (heavily edited) the feeling of helplessness, the dreadful feeling of uselessness in a dire situation. working for days, weeks, months just to result in nothing. failure. empty hands. i love observing that. empathizing with it. moon is a wonderfully written character. eclipse's guilt tripping. manipulating the feeling, "confirming" moon's anxieties of failure. of having his brother be hurt. of being trapped in a body that isn't his again. tsk. it's even more interesting that moon was always known as "the smart, competent one". and yet he's suddenly unable to do anything. unable to live up to the expectation set on him to be that "genius scientist". his "purpose" is gone, and because of that, his brother will be gone, and because of that, he will be gone. and he can't trust eclipse with the star. he can't trust eclipse with anything. he's supposed to be the smart one. why is he suddenly feeling so useless? Yet Sun’s naive idealism and optimism kept Moon pushing for another way. Pushing for days, weeks, and months to find a solution, all alone. A solution for an irreversible part of themselves that has mutated into an inseparable, malevolent entity, Eclipse.

But yes Moon is such a well written character as well as Sun, and even though episodes like this one are incredibly heavy to watch and take in, they're done so well and this video was definitely really good even though it was sad to watch.

Moon figured out how to separate himself from the conjoined body he and Sun used, transfering himself into a new constructed body. So why can't he just create new bodies for himself and Sun and transfer their consciousness (moon and sun) into new bodies, leaving their old bodies for lunar and eclipse to enhabit, making them easier to deal with?

The can't separate from them, that's the problem.. Both Eclipse, and Lunar are integrated into them. If they try to seperate from them, it could kill Sun, and Moon anyways.. Granted, they had to actually activate Lunar's code in Moon, but no matter what they do, Lunar, and Eclipse will follow them in some way and there's a chance they could develop again..

The only solution I see, is to use the Star to merge both egos into one. Like merge Sun and Eclipse into one and merge Moon and Lunar into one. Of course that’ll mean neither egos will be the same person. But it’s better than dying or being stuck in their own minds forever.

This whole episode brought tears to my eyes. Sun though his brother was the smartest and the bravest of the two, but Moon is just scared. He’s feels helpless and useless. And I could feel the pain they both felt, especially when Moon screamed at Sun like that. Hell, I could practically see Sun’s tears. As for what that lore will be, I suspect it will be about their time in the same body and how Moon felt oppressed. Beyond that, I've no clue. However I do know one thing, and that is that Moon is not a failure and he needs help and a lot of support. And seeing Moon having a breakdown, that makes me want to cry. Given that Eclipse's deadline and Roxanne's and Glamrock Freddy's marriage are on the same day, I have a theory: Eclipse's whole plan is reliant on pushing Sun into such a deep pit of despair that it allows him to permanently take over his body or at least become the dominant personality within it. Now everything that has happened so far in the show coupled with witnessing Glamrock Freddy and Roxanne's wedding *might* be enough to do that, but I have a feeling that Eclipse also has something else in play. Now this is just speculation, but I suspect that he might've rigged Roxanne's maternity chip to overload and destroy her personality chip once certain conditions are met, thus killing her in the middle of the wedding ceremony. However, Eclipse failed to take into account that Circus Baby would find a way to remove the maternity chip and recruit Sun into the Wedding Wreckers. So instead of sending Sun into a pit of despair, working to save Roxanne will fill him with enough hope and determination to prevent Eclipse from taking control of him. So saving Roxanne and removing the maternity chip might be what ends up saving Sun and Moon.

All the way back since most likely the July 16 incident. Eclipse has been slowly causing a drift between Sun, and Moon. Doing this not only angers Moon, (which Eclipse like) but it also makes Sun emotionally unstable making it easier for Eclipse to control him.
